She’s soft & elegant, powdery dry down. I’ve been having fun layering it with other perfumes.
To me this just smells soapy and clean. Not really in a bad way but, just mostly like very nice soap. Would be good for the office when sprayed in moderation.
Best out of all the Yaras. If you're a fan of amber-y jasmine scents, this one is great. Synthetic smelling, but still very classy. More mature and not playful like the other Yaras, but not matronly either. Lasts forever, at least 8-10 hours. Might be a little cloying for summer wear, but good for the rest of the year.
It happend to me. Finally, I have found a parfum I am anosmic to. So sad, as I have heard great reviews on it. Will try it more, in different weather conditions, maybe it will pass... Update: still nothing. Will ask other people if they can smell it on me. Very strange. Feels like I sprayed water.
To me it smells like Alien by Mugler but if it was made a bit sweeter. It has that same woodyness alien has probably coming from the patchouli/ sandalwood mix but with added “gourmand” touches from the peach and caramel. I’m definitely a fan of Moi, and being a white floral patchouli lover this hit all the right spots for me
I can only smell beast-mode, soap-like patchouli at the beginning. Then the dry down smelled like someone peed on the patchouli. It does not like me.
I’ve got nothing too bad to say about about this other than it is boring. It just doesn’t deliver anything beyond basic and non offensive. I don’t get the peach note or the caramel. It just smells like a floral that dries down to a very soft amber
I bought it back in the december. I remember it was smelling so good back then. Usually with fragrances, when we let them sit over the counter for days, they get better over time. With this one, the opposite happened. Patchouli note got so prominent that it was getting on my nerves. White floral and patchouli together killed the fun for me here. Smells like a pencil sharpener to me now.
I like this one more than the other ones but it's strange not bad but not good either it's mid
My favorite of the Yaras and only 1 out of 2 that I wear. She's grown, but not vintage. Sweet, creamy, and floral with a hint of woodiness. She continues to get even better over time.
The initial spray was really harsh and perfume-y. I really didn't like anything about this fragrance. It's spicy and heavy in a bad way.
It's nice, but nothing too special. Good for a warm summer day, but sometimes the smell resembles one of sweat. To me it's pretty unisex.
On my skin I get more fruity warm patchouli, its been like a year that i own the bottle, and its has been macerated for that time, the first sprayed it smelled like a sweaty guy lol…
lovely - surprised its not more popular
I love Yara Candy. And I love the orange one. But this smell like ten cans of bounce dat ass.
Surprised to not hate this one since I’ve heard it’s the lowest rating of all Yara’s. It actually reminds me of a powdery rexona roll on deodorant back in the day, that’s exactly what it smells like. Powdery flowers but not in a delicate Chanel type way.
This is my favorite out of all the feminine Yara fragrances. It smells fruity (peach), fresh and floral-y (jasmine), and a little creamy woods because of the sandalwood. It has a beautiful dry down as well. This is great for spring/summer and day time, but you can definitely douse yourself with it for night time use lol.
I liked Moi out of all the other Yaras the most. It's a very nice, classy, sweet fragrance. I love the woody undertones as well as the strong jasmine note once you spray it. Of course, the jasmine is a hit or miss for some but I personally really like it. It gives it this immediate presence you cannot ignore and really fall for, especially if you're a white floral lover like me. Moi is the strongest out of the Yaras upon spraying, most prominent, but not in a overwhelming way. Overall, white floral + sweetness + sandalwood = great combo. Lattafa nailed this one.
I’m not sure how to describe it … it smells like funky rice water. I had to throw it away because none of my friends wanted it.
Great every day perfume. Its not too floral where I feel like i'm gonna get a headache. It's clean but with a touch of warmth from the patchouli, amber, and sandalwood, making it something that can be worn day or night all year round. To me, it feels more like a body spray but not in a bad way at all, just that it doesnt have that strong 'perfumey' quality...if that makes sense. But unlike most body sprays, this stuff LASTS AND PROJECTS. Fresh out of the shower on moisturized skin, its heavenly and makes you feel pampered. Not offensive and safe to wear anywhere. definitely a crowd pleaser.
Lattafa Yara Moi is a very feminine perfume that I can recommend because of its longevity, price-performance ratio, and how easy it is to buy. It has a beautiful rosy character that can come across as sweet and sexy, depending on the place and the activities. For a first perfume, however, it can also be quite strong. To me, it doesn’t really smell unnatural, but it is a bit too strong in terms of jasmine.
Didn't like it. Annoyingly sweet. Single spray and I got a headache shortly after. Probably going to trade for a different Yara from a friend. Normal Yara is better.
I own the entire line and they're all okay-ish. I Iike the mango the most. This is a meh white floral. I don't get the peach at all. It's just an early 2000 style of floral. Nothing bad. Nothing special. Nothing fun to use. A bit mature. Synthetic in an okay-ish way.
My wife and I both hate this stuff....hands down the worst of the Yara line. Smells cheap and old lady like. Returned it.
I got this in a travel sized set with a total of four yara perfumes. This is a signature scent worthy fragrance. I’m in love. I don’t know how no one so far has compared this to J’adore by Dior but it’s so similar and a great dupe for it. Only difference is that this one is better!! It has better projection/longevity, is more sweet and for a younger audience than Dior (20-30s). It starts off with bright florals and it’s very clean smelling. Then it fades into a powdery soft finish. The entire time I pick up that it is jasmines which is my favorite flower. This is great for layering or honestly wearing it alone. If you don’t like florals don’t get this. I’m not the biggest fan of floral perfumes but this is not headache inducing at all which I’m very prone to. I will be getting the big bottle once this runs out. UPDATE: I wore this for another day and it started smelling like old lady and sweet baby spit… it’s a shame because I used to really like it but I can’t stand it when I get a whiff anymore and it gave me a headache. I’m gonna take a break and come back to it at another time to see what I think… 😞
It has the scent characteristic of a typical white girl fragrance, and it is essentially a diluted version of a men's fragrance, with approximately 20% water added. Smells like "clean girl" gone awry. Not fetch, not approved. 💋 XOXO (It's so mid; I had to get into a fake character to bring some interest to this basic perfume.) PS: People are not lying about the feet smell. Dirty feet with body lotion.
I have the most unpopular opinion when it comes to the yaras. This is my ranking a month after getting them: 1. Moi 2. Tous 3. Original 4. Candy (I don’t have elixir) * this makes me think I rlly cant blind buy things with recommendations bc I have unpopular taste. This one is my favorite one!!! To me it smells like a delicious shampoo, fresh and sweet and clean. Or a nice hotel soap. I don’t smell the patchouli tho which I’m thankful for
I get a fruity floral with no patchouli or sandalwood. If I wasn't looking at the notes, I would have no idea if it was jasmine or honeysuckle or lily and if it was peach or strawberry or lychee (or most any other floral/fruit combo) - its a sweet floral. Unlike some Lattafa scents that smell like they are much more expensive than what they are, this matches its price. It smells like a drugstore body spray. I'm surprised that the AI generated review summary claims that it is "elegant and mature," because I think this would be a great perfume for a teen to someone in their early 20's. I'm in my mid 40's and would not have bought this if I smelled it first- not that it's a bad scent, but maybe just because I associate scents like this with the Bath and Body Works fragrances of my youth. I can imagine a group of high school girls passing this around to spray on after cheerleading practice, but I can't imagine a district attorney spritzing it on before court. I should also add that I have had this for about five months now and there has been no noticeable change from when I bought it (December) until now (April). It's possible that it needs more time for the patchouli and sandalwood to emerge, because those notes would make it a little less youthful.
This is actually a quite complex scent despite having only six notes in it, it smells like it has more notes in it. It smells like a white, day-time perfume, but despite being classified as a day-time scent, it has this foggy, mysterious scent, as if you you’re trying to view someone through foggy glass. It reminds me of being at a hotel and having a bath with the hotel soap. It definitely has a soapy aroma to it. It reminds me of the Balmain body wash that’s in Sofitel hotels. When I first spray this scent on my skin, the opening smells more masculine, almost like a cologne and in a very perfumy way. I do get the opening note of jasmine, but it’s done in a more masculine cologne like way. It smells musky even though there’s no musk in this perfume. The other top note of peach comes out, but it’s very subtle and blends into the background, adding a subtle fruity, uplifting vibe. The peach takes about 3-5 minutes to appear. The middle notes of caramel and amber give it a subtly sweet, intoxicating and rich scent that definitely makes the scent feel more warm and cosy. The base notes of patchouli is very strong and contributes to the musky and woody-like enticingness of it and combined with the sandalwood gives it this woodsy beach like scent minus the ocean smells, like you’re smelling the driftwood from the beach or old, aged sawdust. When I imagine it, I feel like I’m drowning in an ocean of white florals, musk and woodsy notes and getting lost in the mysterious haze of it all.
todas las demás notas estan bien, huele rico, durazno y jazmin, pero esas notas de patchouli y sándalo lo arruinan todo, en especial el primero porque termina dandole un olor a tierra. a medida que pasa el tiempo se vuelve bastante masculino.
