Perfect

before I was into niche scents, I used to tell everyone that Perfect was one of my go-to perfumes. however, I initially started out by purchasing the Dossier version, Floral Rhubarb and just assumed that the real one would smell the same. I fell in love with it and how juicy and sweet it was. I was gifted the real bottle recently and was a bit disappointed when I wore it for the first time. compared to the Dossier dupe, this fragrance is MUCH less sweet, and much greener. it stays a bit sharp to me for the entire wear time, which is about 30 minutes. if you prefer sweetness over greenness, go for the Dossier. I also feel that the dupe lasts longer on my skin and is a much rounder fragrance.

Perfect, Eau de Parfum, by Marc Jacobs, smells like sweet pear, sweet candy rhubarb and narcissus flowers. I am very surprised how well rhubarb and narcissus go together, a note combination I did not think of.

A young, fresh green scent that doesn't lean sweet or floral. Simple, and beautifully pleasant. I received compliments on this one many times and it was my go to office scent for a long period. The longer it sits the less synthetic it feels, and the more i could differentiate the rhubarb and almond from eachother. One of the few marc jacobs that devises its own dna. I only wish it would last longer..

Perfect for warmer weather. It's fresh, and clean with just a little sweetness. I ALWAYS receive compliments while wearing this one from men and women alike. Works well in the office, so I would say safe blind buy in my opinion. It projects well, and longevity is up to 6-8 hrs on my skin and hair. My signature of the summer.

I wore this fragrance on my wedding day. It was a warm humid day at the end of May, and we were surrounded only by close family and friends in a small gathering at a friend's house. The light and fresh sweetness of the perfume matched the occasion. It was... well, perfect! 🥰

Pleasant and different, probably because of the greenness and rhubarb. But a little too sweet in my opinion. Smells juvenile.

Even people who don’t usually like floral scents might want to give this one a chance. It’s a very wearable everyday fragrance, but it does need to be reapplied. Its longevity is lower than Irresistible.

its very Green and clean, but sadly on my skin It does remind me too much of Dior's Farenheit. Theres this fresh Green blast at the opening notes that is very similar to the surgical cleanness of the fig leaf from Mugler's Womanity. Its very unisex and Woody on my skin, that juicy "red" kinda jolly rancher scent is very fleeting on my skin which is a friggin bummer. I might pass this on to my husband.

I've sniffed my fair share of women's designer fragrances, and I can confidently say that Marc Jacobs Perfect is one of the best releases out there. The opening is top-tier juicy, green rhubarb mixed with this clean, almost soapy floral quality. It has that refreshing almost shampoo like which is super pleasant. The almond milk note here isn't the heavy, creamy gourmand type, it sits really well with the cashmere and cedar in the base, giving it a woody, slightly musky finish while still holding onto that rhubarb and floral freshness in the dry down. As a man, I absolutely love this scent on women. It's incredibly cozy, feminine and non cloying. Some might argue it’s a bit juvenile for those over 30, but I honestly think it fits almost any woman at any age. The performance is average, but since it’s so inoffensive, you can easily respray it throughout the day without bothering anyone. While I won't be wearing this myself as it doesn't quite fit my personal vibe & character, I love having it around. It’s actually my go-to for relaxing in my room drinking tea, listening to music, or even just as a cozy bedtime scent. A very well blended fragrance, and definitely one of the best women's designer releases. If you’re looking for a solid budget alternative, check out Fragrance World Pleasant, it usually goes for around $20 on discounters. On my skin and paper, it’s 90-95% similar to the original, though it is more linear, it maintains that juicy rhubarb and soapy floral the whole way through and lacks the deep, woody, musky finish of the cashmere and cedar found in the original, but for that price, it’s definitely worth it! 9/10

Surprisingly delightful on my skin. Very simple, not complex at all, but certainly works for me. I would never wear this out of the house, except maybe to run some errands. Almond, rhubarb, a distant-yet-present daffodil. This mix of notes does oddly present as something almost aquatic on my skin, but it isn't bad. Loads better than Daisy, which I grew to dislike. I'll enjoy my sample and leave it at that.

I bought this because of the rhubarb note, which unfortunately didn't last long, but neither does the fragrance. However, I love the fresh scent and it makes me think of a cool, spring day, right after a gentle rain. Incredibly fresh and airy. I like to layer with BBW's Open Sky lotion to intensify the fragrance, improve sillage and longevity. I don't reach for it often, but I do recommend it.

Perfect is a great strong, fresh powerhouse for summer. Rhubarb is very distinct and can be polarising, but this gives me similar strong fresh vibes as the classic Chloe, which is a staple in my collection.

I couldn't pick up any of the notes in this perfume, but I can say that it is perfect for anyone who wants an everyday, slightly fresh yet girly scent, and for anyone who might be sensitive to more intense perfumes. The best words I can find to describe Perfect are "watery", "springtime", and "soft". Like if you submerged a strawberry in a glass of water and set it in a field blooming with daises.

I love the intens version of this one. My recommendation and love leans more to the intens one. This one is a fine perfume, medium strong.

I’m not sure why it smells like pencil shavens on me, but I’ll pass. It starts pretty and then my PH ruins it apparently? Wanted to love it.

Rhubarb top note very pleasant to my nose, however it lacks performance. Base notes are extremely weak. All in all, easy to wear and lovely scent.

Perfect evokes the image of the first daffodil of a new spring emerging from the snow. The green & floral notes stand out on me much more than the fruity ones, settling into powdered milk. The smell of a polite, well-manicured young lady. Compliments springtime weather wonderfully, especially on a rainy day when all the blossom petals are falling from the trees. Fresh, damp, polished. That Marc Jacobs floral DNA certainly persists here-- as someone who adored Daisy Eau So Fresh back in it's heyday I notice an undeniable similarity. For me it was a blind buy since I loved Perfect Elixir. Only the travel size & that's plenty for me. I wouldn't choose a full bottle for myself but it's been a treat to sample during March & April. Doesn't last very long on me, unlike Elixir which I find much more potent. This is the type of scent I'd wear to a job interview to project the vibe of a clean & pleasant individual.

This smells lotiony to me. Objectively good but not my kind of scent. The green-ness turns my stomach a little.

Fresh but not too sweet. I feel like a lot of MJ fragrances have the same DNA, so nothing special or different about this one. Good dry down.

I really enjoy wearing this. It’s fresh and tangy without being too sweet or juvenile. I prefer the Elixir version and I also quite like the Absolute. However, this is the best for a quick and mindless spray in springtime. The performance doesn’t make it great value, as I only get a couple of hours from it, but it’s a perfume I enjoy nevertheless.

Lovely scent! Fresh, sweet and fruity. I can definitly smell the rhubarb, but it's soft and not too sour. Bit shampoo like, doesn't last that long but still a nice one! Uncomplicated inoffensive everyday wear, which I appreciate in a perfume.

Clean, feminine, soapy but not generic, beautiful, fun, charming, sweet floral fragrance. Perfect for Spring & Summer. Deff a fragrance for us clean girls who love daily showers and fruity sweet fresh scents. Easily one of my favorite perfumes ~ Lasts at least 6-8 hours on my skin, and I can smell it throughout the day. That rhubarb note is amazing.

This smells like a “main character but chill” type of perfume. It’s cute, a little quirky, and very wearable like putting together an outfit that shouldn’t work but somehow does.

Love this one! It’s perfect! It’s a clean and beautiful floral fragrance that I can easily wear on the daily and enjoy. It lasts a long time on me. Hands down my favorite.
