Perfect Intense

The only gourmand I have on my collection that I can actually wear. The drydown is so comfortable and feminine. Reminds me J'adore Lor. The bottle is funny and cute.

Sweet, woody, floral and present. Lots of people say this can be a bit headachey and I agree— not that this doesn't smell good. It reads mostly floral, slightly woody on me. I imagine that people who want to explore fragrances with a wood note look into this. Very "femme", but a nice addition to a collection for if you just want to smell good and not think about it too much. Just pack a Advil or smth.

When you first spray it, you can pick up some fruity notes. As it develops, the fragrance becomes deeper and transforms into a green, woody, and slightly peppery scent. This scent is quite unique, I wouldn't recommend it to people who don't like standing out.

How giving out testers is a great marketing tool. That is how I found this one. The lovely bottle that has the letters J and M (that I imagine being for me and my love) sealed the deal in asking this bottle for Christmas. I love that it is somewhat unknown here. Nobody will walk by you and say: ahh you are wearing this or that perfume. This is contending to be my regular scent. (it is as potent as Good girl and Alien to me, but not as fashionable wich I like)

This is my sister's signature scent and I love smelling it on her. It's very comforting, almost peppery, and just slightly sweet. It honestly works whenever but is particularly suited to the fall. For anybody searching for a versatile oriental scent I'd definitely recommend it. The fun bottle definitely doesn't hurt either.

Narcissus and almond sound like a dream. I get neither in this perfume, though. On the tester strip, it smelled like nondescript, slightly sunscreeny white florals, and nothing else. Reminded me a little of wet wipes. I'm willing to give it another try just for the notes described, but first impression was disappointing.

Love the almond in this. The floral notes make it more mature than what I usually wear, and can be headache inducing at some points, but still a beautiful fragrance. I like pairing it with Mod Vanilla or any musky vanilla perfume.

This is a sexy, feminine scent. Sweet, nutty, fruity floral. Not a gourmand. Any season or time of day, versatile af & signature scent worthy. I wear to bed and wake up enveloped in the cosy sandalwood/vanilla drydown. Avoid overspraying on hot days or at work because she’s loud. The bottle design is fun.

I really enjoyed Perfect OG at first but ended up giving it to a friend bc there was something about the way one of the notes sat in the back of my throat...kind of sticky, a bit heavy, kind of viscous. I think I could overlook it at first but it became cloying the more I wore it. Intense has swapped that note out or eliminated it altogether. With the addition of jasmine, it's a version of Perfect I can enjoy again. I've only just opened it so it'll take a few wears before I can comment on spillage or longevity, but the OG had moderate of both so I expect this will be similar. EDIT: After wearing it a few times, Im getting the same "catching" in my throat that put me off the OG. I think it's the almond/narcissus combo. There's no fruit called out but I smell the syrupy rhubarb and, with the addition of jasmine, it's just too "thick" for my taste. It's almost like Alien (which I love) trudging through corn syrup. Alien is a love, but can be a bit much if you wear it in the wrong situation, so to add some aspect to it that thickens that experience is just too much for me. Cute bottles tho!

Pleasant but basic almond fragrance..very very poor longevity becomes skin scent within 30 minutes and has zero sillage

Beautiful clean scent, not soapy, luxurious. Reminds me of Kirke by Tiziana Terenzi but for a fraction of the price. Also, I feel a mango or smth like that, like in Carnal Flower by Frederic Malle, very interesting.The downside is that it can cause a headache, so needs to be tested first

i wanted to like this purely off of the bottle alone because its so gorg; the cat, cherry and bow charms are very me. i was sad to spray it and only get this overpowering synthetic banana smell. i dont feel that the nutty notes come out at all. it's just overwhelmingly sweet bananas. it's a shame, i wish i could smell the other notes but i suppose body chemistry plays a big role on how perfumes smell on our skin. it reminds me of this banana flavoured medicine that i had as a kid. not something i would buy. if it was true to the listed notes i would be much more interested. MJ perfumes tend to be major hit or misses for me and this one was a miss. which again, such a shame because the bottle is so pretty. it just lacks any depth and is overpowered by bananas. some winston from overwatch type perfume.

One of my most recent purchases, it was a biiit pricy, but it's a good perfume nonetheless. Doesn't last as long as I hoped for, but it's still a decent perfume that I would enjoy finishing. It's quite an alluring, rich scent, very powerful, yet not the type to cause a headache. If I had to rate it from 1-10, this is easily a 7.5/10 for me. 8 on a good day haha!

For me it’s very similar like Dior - J´adore and it’s really not my type of fragrance:(. I have nauzea from this but i feel that is very good quality and good longevity and good projection.

I blind bought this in summer and it wasn't a love. It was straight almond. So I left the bottle on the shelf for months until I decided to give it another shot before I give it away. This time, it gave me a wow! It opens like a sister of Dior J'adore, with a wee of almond base. The dry down is almond and a faint floral in the background. The almond smells a bit generic. J'adore smells airy whilst Perfect Intense smells rich. I prefer J'adore more. In my opinion, Perfect Intense smells amazing in autumn/winter. Projection: 7/10 Longevity: 5-6 hours Rating: 9/10

Smells like J'ador... What's amazing, but, I expected almond, not pure white florals, and no trace of anything else

I really enjoy this nutty floral concoction! It feels warm and playful, and pairs beautifully with L’Occitane’s Almond Body Oil, which enhances the creamy, gourmand notes. I disagree with reviews calling it a cool-weather scent- thanks to the jasmine, it’s perfect for spring. Its lightness also makes it office-appropriate. Overall, a lovely, everyday fragrance.

I like this perfume, smells very similar to Yara Tous, which I have, the difference is this one dry down with a weird note maybe like dry grass or something similar, it’s not too strong but I can feel it, which doesn’t happen with the YT. So, because of that I don’t think I need a FB of this, I’m gonna finish my decant and continue using YT.

answer to user LEM and to all mad h03s. just because you don't feel some note doesn't mean other people can't, you willywonkass. it depends on our noses (yes, we all hear perfumes differently, wow, right?), our skin chemistry, the weather and the expiration date of perfume. none of ppl i asked about this one saw a bottle, NONE. and few people said that they hear banana note from my skin. why are you so mad about this, damn. if you don't understand how manufacturers list the notes — google it! for me this perfume smells like fruity mango shampoo. what can i say? and i know i'm not alone. i tested it before looking at notes and groups. maybe your perception of perfume is influenced by the fact that you tune yourself to certain notes. maybe YOU are. i don't know, in general, it doesn't matter. i'm tired of angry people on this forum. just enjoy your fragrant water. peace. >> LEM92201/04/24 21:18 I feel like I’m going insane. I got a travel size of this on a whim. Jasmine is the star of the show here. This is a creamy floral without being too sharp, or grandma-y. This is white floral done right.

This has quickly become my signature scent. It smells expensive, and just so gorgeous. It's a warm, creamy, sweet floral. Works really well for the office but also gets attention in public. If you love jasmine scents, this will be a WIN.

I’m not sure if my nose is deceiving me, but this smells a LOT like Fame by Lady Gaga. I'm also getting some hints of Naughty Alice by Vivienne Westwood in terms of sweetness Perfect Intense is very nice. Slightly peppery but smooth and creamy. You can definitely smell the jasmine and it’s gorgeous. I think the almond notes could’ve been more potent though. Also I can't say I'm picking up on the banana scent that others are smelling Overall I love it. This one feels sensual, autumnal and edgy, especially for a Marc Jacobs fragrance (I find most of them quite basic and safe). It's very city girl-esque

It’s a nice soft floral. Office friendly. Everyday scent. I don’t see a need for it in my collection though.

It smells soft after couple hours. It can be kinda sweet when just spayed but after is more like a warm sent. It stays for very long time, I can smells it even after shower.

This one is lovely ❤️ I was afraid of the narcissus because I do not like the smell of the flower although it looks very pretty. So I ordered just a sample of Perfect Intense to try on my skin. A full bottle is rather expensive to buy in case I would not like it. And wow, I was stunned! Then I ordered a full bottle (and the bottle is a cutie, btw, love that tiny shiny decorations 🤭). My new creamy favourite. I have already tried the perfume in all seasons, and I must say it is literally PERFECT all year round! Cozy in the autumn and winter, sweet in the spring and juicy and not annoying at all in the summer. Yummy, got several compliments that I smell so good when wearing it. And this is what decides when I hesitate what perfume I could buy again.

This was gifted to me on my birthday from a friend. Smells very heavy but in a good way. I took a liking to it straight away and was surprised because I dont really like marc Jacobs fragrances. Its a rich smelling nutty creamy fragrance with hints of Jasmine. Very elegant lady like. I save it for special occasions because it makes me feel special when I am wearing it.

I got this 6months ago and in store it was lovely but mine was nauseating so I put it in the cupboard and forgot about it till now…. Verrry slight improvement I’m sad to say and all I get is still overripe rotten bananas.🙄I thought maybe it was my skin but on paper it’s the same🤔maybe I got a bad batch. Anyway because the bottle is so cute I’ll hang on to it and try layering with other perfumes. I also got a sample of Yara Moi… and that is actually lovely. Prefer that one!! I wish I got the florals and almond like others have said! Ahh well… I just hope it gets better with age🤔
