Fresh lavender with nice dash of lemon and a drop of coffee. I like it, it’s very elegant yet easy to wear fragrance. Definitely an older brother of my favorite Lothair. It’s a young one, because in my head can only imagine young person wearing it. Follow me on ig: scent.guide

Opening is kind of flat and odd, that sage note just making the present citrus that little bit stale. Giving a few moments of an almost cigarette smell. Further down we do get the leather note, but this whole cigarette smoke faintly persists. Some light spiciness as well but it's kind of a smoker in a leather jacket vibe and it's definitely not doing what I'd like. Stale, dull, disinteresting. This did not come out fresh or like what most people experience. Definitely more like turned to ash on my skin. Good times, unexpected, and interesting I suppose.

I think I was going agnostic to the opening cuz I literally couldn't smell anything but the alcohol but then dry down came and its just so clean and luxurious smelling but has absolutely no longevity and doesn’t project for longer than 5 mins

Lovely scent, clean, non-synthetic but feels generic and could be any designer scent. Reminds me cutting through a department store with that gender neutral scent that fills the air. It’s pleasant but does not pull you to a counter to talk with the rep. At the price point if you enjoy the brand and want to support them it’s a nice daily. On the slip side, a lot of alternatives exist for this price. For the sandalwood backbone it makes me look at Creed Original Sandalwood

Its hard to detect it at first, but there actually is a good sandalwood at skin level. It amplifies when you take a shower with it on.

I found a 3/4 full 30ml of this for some what cheap (£30 for about 19ml). My lover loved this scent on me (it was the concentrate, but I found this nicer when I sampled them both later) in the Penhaligon Boutique , but was very sad it was gone so quickly. I agree too. I intend to save the scent entirely for him and intimate time together. It's a extremely romantic and sensual smell that has this slight mythical scent from the base. It's like having a tender moment in a Grecian temple under the stars. Breathed deep, and held close. Personally, I find Le Male Le Parfum better for anything but that intimate moment so my little bottle sound last quite a while. It doesn't have the same intricate complexity up close, but it has the same spirit, and it doesn't cost as much. I love this scent for that one purpose and don't care for it for much else.

Most generic men's perfume. You literally wouldn't be able to tell this apart from something you would pick up at the drugstore for $40 dollars. I have literally dated men who have gotten a bottle of something similiar as a stocking stuffer and wore it throughout our relationship and this stuff makes me gag the same way I do when I remember I dated them.

opener is immediately the combo of bergamot+sage+black pepper and that lavender smell!! there's that hint of bitterness that i think is from coffee? also the orange for the freshness/tartness!!! then comes all the woody, vetiver, myrhh, leather and cardamom!!! spicy and woody which add that nice depth!!! it felt really earthy!! i enjoyed smelling this one and picking up the notes!

I honestly love the smell. It's rather inoffensive, it's an easy wear, it lasts really well on me personally. In my personal opinion this is just a classic, more manly scent, a little barber shop-ey, a little basic, but damn, it gets the job done and I am in love with it

Nice enough, but comes across a bit ‘beige’ to me, and at the price that’s disappointing. It doesn’t really say anything, but maybe that’s the point I.e. it’s just a gentle, nice smelling scent for someone who’s not looking to make a statement, just smell nice. It’s quite creamy and soft like a chamois cloth. It’s also got a touch of ‘new car’ smell about it (a nice one though, with leather seats and walnut.) It’s by no means bad, just a bit anodyne.

[AUGUST 2025] Endymion, you cold sparkling beauty. Most Penhaligon perfumes are too subtle to my taste but I found Endymion's soft calming musky-citrus + rich lavender accord so soothing. There's something nocturnal how the atmosphere this Penhaligon's (in particular) conveys is too fog-like, frigid, and tickling but still oh so soft (sparkling) to the nose to convey something hot sunny but still bright like the moonlit (wildflower-- meaning grass-like not bouquet flower coded) meadow. Moreso than Luna, which was just so imperceptible to my nose. My new layering perfume, for that $160AUD 30ml which goes on sale often for about $120AUD for a 30ml on a lucky day. Probably even less. Rare Penhaligon's I did not find too sharp, antique an imagery and regretful a purchase (looking at you, my first ever perfume purchase with my own money: Lily Of The Valley.)

As everyone else has said, pretty straightforward fresh masculine scent. No fuss but pleasant scent. First hit is the bergamot and lavender and then settles into a more powdery clean scent. Not sure I can pick out the coffee, but there is something in there that is grounding that zingy top note. I really like it, but does put me in mind of those late 90s scents from CK and Versace.

I love this. Such an easy wear, smells clean and classy but with a bit of depth. Not the best performer but I don't really wear it for that, it's a good grab for the office or casual day out. I'll replace it when it runs out.

Nice barbershop cologne. Easy to wear. Not made for fragheads that are looking for a complex fragrance powerful cologne. The coffee adds a nice touch. There are better barbershops for cheaper like Floid The Original or Varon Dandy EDT for much cheaper and overall a better experience for me personally. Mainly for fans of Penhaligons. If you're seeking a nice British barbershop, also consider Floris Elite, but give this one a try as you may prefer it over the others I've mentioned. The sage really does stand out in this one. Very pleasant. Biggest pro with this cologne is this it's easy to wear, and you'll feel like a gentleman while wearing it.

People are calling this a basic, barber shop lavender fresh male scent. But I think that the coffee note is really nice, and makes it so that it's not basic-smelling...I am a woman, and usually do not like wearing male scents (or unisex fragrances that lean masculine). However, this one I think is very wearable for me (in summer!) because of the lavender, bergamot and coffee. It doesn't last a crazy long time, but I wasn't expecting that :), so I don't mind. So if you wanna know what this one smells like, think lavender, bergamot, coffee.

People slating the performance, for me this is a classy not in your face fragrance that I will wear when I want to be a bit understated. I get a good 3 hours of projection and it's a skin scent 8 hours after I put it on. It's better performing the bleu de channel edt for me so I'm ok with the subtleness of it. I've got other loud fragrances and bought this for a more refined fresh option when I just want to sleep good without getting in people's faces too much. 9/10 for me 👍🏻

Compared to Guerlain Homme, which has a more vibrant and refreshing profile with its citrus and mint notes, this fragrance is more subdued and comforting, offering a different kind of appeal. Guerlain Homme's performance is impressive for its type, with long-lasting sillage and projection, and if this fragrance had similar performance, it would be perfect. I'll try the concentrée version once I finish my current bottle, which won't take long since it requires generous application to achieve the desired effect. The concentrée version might offer a more intense experience, and I'm curious to see how it compares to the original. Overall, this fragrance is a charming addition to my collection, and I'm looking forward to exploring its variations. 7.5/10

What is the point of reviewing an already over-reviewed product? Bottom line: I don’t like it much. A trendsetter from another era. Synthetic, dated, but undeniably masculine. Straight to the point barbershop lavender, dated and overly familiar that it smells cheap. Quintessential lavender fragrance, like if Old Spice got a minimalist makeover. Pick this over Le Male Jean Paul Gaultier at the very least. If you want bold masculine, look elsewhere (Prada Black, perhaps).

Masculine leaning, but soft enough to be unisex. The clean and slightly soapy lavender, bergamot, and sage mixed with the soft leather note, making this smell a little bit like a new car or car freshener. It’s inoffensive and pleasant, but is basically nonexistent after 30 minutes. I’m not a stickler for longevity but this is so fleeting it’s not worth the price.

overpriced for the performance at least on my skin basically almost disappeared within the first 30 minutes of spraying it on could smell it only if you got really close bummer since the story for it is so fairytale prince scent 6.5/10 projection 3/10 duration 4/10

Really incredible fragrance - refines exactly what Floris Santal was attempting. Love the sandalwood, spices, and earthy notes with the fresh lavender. Absolute classic in my book!
