Nice smell, weak stuff though, very weak, keep that in mind, dont use when you need a perfume to last more than an hour, it projects moderately for 30 minutes tops, then weak projections if lucky for another 30 minutes, then skin scent. No maturation can save something like that Opens citrusy with a bit of pineapple, nothing harsh Then quickly turns into something more floral its not close to being as dark as all other aventus clones though, the patchouli and oakmoss are very quite here, can detect some vanillic notes as well in the base, 0 smokiness if its something you are interested in.
How the hell is Insurrection II Pure, a fragrance released in 2013, a DUPE of a fragrance that was released in 2015 (Intense Man)- which was a dupe of Aventus? You didn’t even specify the specific one from the Club De Nuit line from the Armaf house Do you guys even know what the hell yall saying? Lol
A weaker but less synthetic dupe of club de nuit
I bought it to give me idea how Aventus smells. I had Gammon Black Hoodie perfume with pineapple note which I loved and I thought that pineapple note is one of my favorite in perfumes but after this I don't understand how Aventus can be so popular when this DNA just stinks. There is nothing delicious or sexy here.
Just picked this sent up today and it's super super green on my skin. Quite unique and quite different in comparison to Creed Aventus. I like it a lot
@slayz Don't worry bro it's not feminine at all and very masculine. Don't get caught up in the unisex BS. Lot of shills here remember that.
I wore this one for a while. It’s fresh and woody and masculine in its own way. The birch note is a nice choice to keep this fragrance unique while maintaining a classic masculine scent profile with citrus and woods and all that. Longevity is decent 5-6 hours til it’s a skin scent but at this price you can’t beat it for an Aventus styled fragrance wouldn’t call it a clone since Aventus batches aren’t always blended the same but it will get you in the spirit of the fragrance! 🤣 8.5/10
After smelling Aventus at the store one day, I fell in love with the scent. To me, it's just a clean body wash scent that is generic but not in a bad way. A lot of people say Aventus itself doesn't last or project much, as do people call this light when it's a skin-scent and not supposed to be loud or obtrusive like some spicier colognes. I tried Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man first, then Reyane Insurrection Pure II. Reyane doesn't have the strong wood or lemon scent like the Armaf off the bat and doesn't seem to project or last as long. Reyane smells "smoother" but once they both dry down they are very similar. Armaf doesn't have the bright floral side Reyane has, but it doesn't really lose the masculinity. I don't understand the "clone/dupe" ego-tripping of some people online. As long as it's not ripping off the bottle design or name it simply isn't the same as creating counterfeit clothing or building Lamborghini kit cars. These are extracts and terpenes that capture the same scent and can't be copyrighted, like a candle... Perfumers who worked at niche and designer houses who also work in fair priced houses prove that price tag doesn't equate to quality. If a $150 designer cologne has the same overall scent as a niche that costs three times the price, why isn't it also called a "clone/dupe"? Sure higher quality extracts are more expensive and I would wear Aventus daily if I was that well off, but price ratio definitely is not correlated with quality and most of that price tag is paying for the brand itself. For every fragrance there are those polarizing opinions like someone saying this DNA smells like cat pee, which I have smelled and not sure where that similarity came from at all 🤣 Some people's noses, lol. This scent will always be good. Not sure if I prefer one over the other.
Ladies & Gentleman, the badass speaks… This smells pretty close to a fruity batch of Aventus, but it’s missing those airy molecules that help the fragrance waft through the air, so the performance here is quite weak. It’s hard to catch a whiff after just one hour. This stays subtle and inoffensive compared to alternatives such as Club De Nuit and it doesn’t have any of the smoky aspects you’ll find in Aventus. The pineapple is made more fruity and tart with the added green apple accord. Still plenty of birch and oakmoss keeping things masculine, while the vanilla adds a touch of sweetness that makes this hard not to like. I might suggest wearing this to work or the gym, as it’s a more subtle and easily worn version of the Aventus DNA. It’s a pleasant spritz when you’re craving that uplifting sweet citrus and woods. I still think Mont Blanc Explorer is a better option overall, as it projects a bit better and will garner more positive attention, however this is a great choice if you’re balling on a budget or would like a more subtle and fruity version of the Aventus DNA that won’t choke anyone out. I personally keep a bottle of this in our guest bathroom and I often spray it on after washing my hands for a little uplifting burst.
This isn't an Aventus clone. It smells like a mix of Aventus and Green Irish Tweed or Cool Water. Not sure what to make of it yet but I think it might grow on me.
if this thing lasted more it would be sublime
Was one of my first buys because I heard so much about Aventus . I'm actually surprised by the rating on its gender . To me this seems very unisex. I have asked many people if it smelled feminine but they didn't think it was feminine but somewhere between unisex and kinda masculine. The scent is nice . Pineapple and apple I pick up the most but some days it almost smells like it has a small amount of coconut. Birch , musk , Oak Moss and amber is what I get in the dry down with a faint vanilla . Doesn't really smell smokey to me . This is probably from 2016 , I don't have the info on me but I have one unopened box and about a 1/5 of first bottle left. Dont wear it like I used to . Nice smell but sometimes I wonder if it's feminine so I think I stopped reaching for it . Scent is a 7.5 for me
I have a 2014 original batch which was one of the first Aventus clones. It's smokey, birchy and fruity with killer performance. To this day it's the best Aventus clone I ever owned. It's natural smelling without the synthetic open of CDIM. However, from what I've read newer batches of IP2 suck ass. So I'm not going to buy another bottle. I'll have to stick with CDIM which is really good after it dries down.
Performance is just okay for me, however off my skin, I only get the cassis and birch notes. The description is well put, cat piss. Even though the fruits are in the top notes, they become just a tiny bit more present later on, however its still cassis dominated which i really dont like. Just very pissy for me, not at all what I expected when the main accords listed are fruity, sweet, and fresh. Maybe just a bad bottle or my skin chemistry.
It’s not what used to be! Very weak powdery Birch, definitely reformulated, not an Aventus copy anymore. There are much better alternatives or seek older bottles, new juice is just horrible!
Most people complain about the poor performance and weak silage. Perhaps because of my skin, or the early batch which I have several bottles (4) of this Aventus-style fragrance, it has an excellent longevity of 10-12 hours and a very strong sillage. This scent honestly intoxicates me; I feel kind of dizzy wearing it, and it is one of my 10/10 fragrances. All this for a very affordable price.
One of the weakest frags I’ve ever had. Not joking or trolling at all. I’d avoid this at all cost. Milton Lloyd victor no 9 in 83ml is by far the best aventus clone I’ve tried
I'm not sure what recent batches are like these days but I owned a few bottles of this between 2016-2018 and the compliments it got me were crazy! Not that I am a compliment seeker but I enjoyed the scent and it also got great reactions so win win. I was at a club I was DJing at and it had a few rooms in the venue I was going in-between rooms and the bar before waiting to play and one of my friends girlfriends said she knew I was here already before seeing me as she could smell my fragrance haha. I also got a text from a friend once after a gig saying one woman was looking to buy the fragrance I had on for her boyfriend. So it's safe to say that back then it certainly left a nice sillage trail. From what I remember this fragrance started off with a nice bergamot and the vanilla coming in pretty early. The drydown was a mixture of musk, birch and ambroxan giving a slight leathery, ash/smoke impression. Around that time insurrection pure 2 was being sold for about £25 - £30 so I was happy with what the scent achieved for that price range. Unfortunately I've heard from a friend that recent batches aren't as good as previous years (sounds familiar) but many fragrance houses have suffered the same thing. Mainly due to rushing a reformulation because of a certain raw material ban/restriction and limits on how much of it they can use.
• Good. • I'm not an a hardcore aventus guy, but own some of the clones just because they're so cheap & common. • This is Aventus with the main scent profile rolled back a bit and replaced with a touch of 'designer blue'. • For reference, Fashion District is super pineapple Aventus, and CDMI turns up the tart, green mango peel aspect/has best performance. • Of the 3 (again not an Aventus guy), I seem to prefer this.
Being all new to the scene I was under the impression that aventus creed was the king of scents and the most sought after. Being super curious about the fragrance but unable to buy the real deal ,I went for this budget option. I did a lot of research on different clones but found a YT video that was really convincing. So I choose this one. Although this wasn't exactly dirt cheap where I live , I still wanted to give it a shoot. All I could smell in the opening was pineapple, birch and a ton of oakmoss. I thought to my self , why on earth are people paying top dollars to smell like an old shed in the woods? Now, I'm certain that creed uses much higher quality scents and that's why the original smells a lot better but I still can't figure out what's so special about this scent. Keep in mind that I'm new in this hobby but even I can tell good smell from horrible. I'm absolutely not saying that insurrection smells horrible, I just don't understand why this smell is so popular. It's kind of like going in to an art gallery and look at some scribble on a canvas while people are totally amazed , Im trying to figure out whats so special about some scribble. There are times when I get a whiff of the scent and feel this is really good stuff but it only lasts for a few seconds. Probably because it has a lot of potential but being a clone manufactured with low grade ingredients it doesn't pull through.
#310 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Well that was disappointing. A fairly generic and non-descript freshie in the mode of a Tommy Bahama fragrance. Pleasant, characterless and kind of impotent. The fruit is very weak and fleeting as usual and the woody scent that lasts is vague and uninteresting. Oh well.
isn't there a parfum version of this?
One of my favourite parfums, and it has an amazing 12h+ longevity on my skin. For the price this is a no brainer if you like fruity-smoky Aventus style fragrances
A fruity-citrusy pineapple 🍍/woody scent. It is blended fairly well. The bergamot/pineapple is prominent at the beginning but dries down with to a woody/birchy scent. The fruity-citrusy scent hangs around through the fragrance. I can also smell a little vanilla note in the base. It last 7+ hours on my skin. It does last longer on clothes or if you layer it with Iso-e-super. I will let it sit and macerate for a few months and see if it improves toward the longevity. This fragrance is definitely in the Creed Aventus vein. I am enjoying it so far. 👍
I feel like this Colonge smells more like Creed Aventus than CDIM, but the performance is not as good as CDIM. As far as Quality it smells better blended than CdIM. I always gets compliments with this one. If you want a close smell to Aventus , this is the best bet.But I feel like Do Not Go heavy in the summer time because of the Vanilla and Oakmoss can be a little heavy other than that 10/10. #1 CREED AVENTUS CLONE PERiOD.
Possibly the worst longevity of any fragrance I’ve tried so far. Complete scam so DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP
For 20 bucks, it doesn’t get better than this. It’s definitely a safe blind buy. Very subtle, which I like. Fruity clean scent, perfect for spring and summer
Aventus's little brother. Different enough to own on its own. Especially for the price. This is juicier than Aventus but doesn't last as long on skin. The bottle is very nice and fits great in your hand.
I recently got the new Le Parfum version and here's my take: It smells very nice specially in the dry down. very close to aventus. I also got a 2017 CDNIM and I prefer Inrurrection over it. they smell 85% simillar but armaf is somehow 2dimensial in the dry down. it's just smoky/lemony. but Insurrection has more depth. it's a bit creamier and richer and not as synthetic. i was expecting this to be fresh fruity soft. something like vibrant leather. but I was wrong. It's got good amount of woods and vanilla that gives it depth. performance is about the same as my CDNIM which is good but not beast mode either. got a compliment after 4 hrs. I really like it. the sport version is also very nice and not redundant to have both.
Every year for Christmas my dad goes down to the cheap fragrance stand in the middle of mall and gets me some weird knock off ill never use; that was not the case with this fragrance. I received this about 5 years ago and its garnered me compliments every single time i wear it. Its such a unique experience upon first sniff, the spicy birch notes are what make this fragrance so interesting i think. In warmer weather i also find my self picking up some fresher eucalyptus notes. Its pleasantly sweet and deeply woody, but very mature and bold at the same time. I dont usually wear cologne, but this rich smelling cheapie is the exception. I also feel that this fragrance is pretty reactant to skin chemistry and manifests/evolves differently depending who its on. While this smells very good on me, i find it smells next level AMAZING on my partners ivory skin.
