Sonic Flower

Love this scent for the office or for when I don't want to feel very perfumed. I think this is sweeter and less spicy than glossier you so it works better for spring and summer and I'd rather reach for glossier you in the fall or winter. I get more of the pink eraser smell in this perfume that is comforting and addictive to me. I don't smell it on myself much at all throughout the day, but others say they can smell me, so I must go slightly anosmic to it which is okay for me at work.

Smells like light iris scented clean laundry is the good part..(opening/on tester strip) The bad part is that you forgot to take out said laundry(dry down on skin)

So in love with this parfume, can’t stop sniffing my wrist. Clean and safe scent with a twist. Perfect office-scent . Tomboy-ish.

Smells like something stale and slightly sour. It has a faint floral smell. And after a minute, it smells like nothing. Good thing I tried a decant first and didn’t blind buy.

Sonic Flower is a nice feminine molecular scent ✨ In comparison to Glossier You, Sonic Flower is fresher and less sweet, more suited for summer. Glossier You is creamier and sweeter version, hence better for spring and colder months 👍

the comparison to glossier you is immediate and apparent. i would say the carrot seed and orris note is a bit stronger here, and lends it a slightly more powdery and vegetal feel than you. there's a bit more of a punch. less rock-n-roll than i expected, but somehow still musical.

I blind bought this because I couldn't find Glossier You for the life of me and people say this is identical to it, but this just smells like pencil shavings to me. People have said it smells nice, I just don't see myself wanting to smell of this the whole day. It's too sand papery but not spicy, just gritty..? I got a decant of Glossier You I really hope 1. I don't get scammed and 2. It doesn't smell like this.

I want to love this one and I am sure if I could smell it I would but after a few minutes I can barely smell anything. Reminds me of a much weaker and simpler version of Fin du Monde by ELDO.

Clean, fresh, powdery, green fragrance. Leaning a bit masculine. Intimate. Not my type, from my nose, Fleur de Peau is much better..

How, HOW am I nose blind to this perfume when I absolutely love Glossier You and can smell all of its nuances? Second time testing it — on paper, on skin, on clothes — and ???? It’s insane, I literally can’t smell anything but a subtle dusty concrete-like opening with slight woodsy, sour and vegetal undertones. And then it’s just nothing. Not even a dusty concrete road. Pear? Soda? Muskiness? Jasmine?! N o t h i n g. A barely noticeable unpleasant vibration inside my nostrils and no other sensation. I hope my nose will discover this perfume ‘cause I really wanna know. Please. Please. Upd. I was so frustrated that I fed this information to the AI and apparently the heavy chemical solvents and fixative blends used in Sonic Flower — once sprayed in close proximity to face, neck, hair and even wrists — are immediately triggering my trigeminal nerve response and make my olfactory system to shut down to protect itself from the damage. That’s why I can’t smell it. Insane. Now I have a list of chemicals to avoid in perfumes. Funnily, Glossier You doesn’t have those triggering components. So — dopelgangers, not twins. Maybe distant cousins. I’ll try to slowly train my olfactory and nervous systems to not overreact with this perfume and we’ll see how it goes.

this is really nice. the initial spray had me a bit worried because it was more sour smelling on me than i’d prefer, but the dry down is excellent. veryyyy powdery, clean and natural. a really solid musk with decent longevity. i prefer love-o-matic because i’m more partial to sweet musks than i am powdery ones but this is still great

Disappointed. I really wanted a good You Glossier dupe but this is not it. First sprits was promising until the hidden pear note popped up, then I knew it was over. I can't stand pear and sadly it a trending note.

The ultimate clean girl scent but with a little something ✨️ extra ✨️ An easy reach and my daily driver, for when I just want to smell good with no effort. I love the little kick the pink pepper opening gives it, as well as the gorgeous iris that really fills out this fragrance giving it a very put together feel. Can't beat a base of ambroxan and musk either for that clean, crispy white t shirt, fresh out of the shower feel. LOVE.

The opening for me was ozonic. Like the plastic and metal, hot fumes that waft off a ghettoblaster from 1992 after cranking Smashing Pumpkins in the sun all day. You pop open the cassette door to switch the tape and that spring-loaded smell puffs out at you. Then the orris and carrot seed came through in a very green way. I’m not getting pear like some many others. This frag is giving organic coziness in a way that is keeping me intrigued as I sniff my wrist — so far, not Full Bottle intrigue, but a positive impression nonetheless. She has character, and I don’t agree that she’s so very like Glossier You. She’s dustier, but like… Garden dust instead of basement dust.

This one’s sublime. Reminiscent of Glossier You, but more organic from the carrot seed making it seem textural if that makes sense. It has no pear note listed, but you get a perfectly ripe pear hit in here. It also sort of smells like a clean baby’s head - not like baby powder or baby scents, but the natural and warm skin musk of a fresh baby. The jasmine isn’t instantly detectable to me - just adds to the overall “wrapped in a blanket” vibe without feeling seasonal at all (to me). Theres some similarities to this and White Rice from D’Annam as well. If you like White Rice or Glossier You, this is a safe blind buy. I ran out of my sample, bought a travel size, and plan on buying a full size tomorrow. Signature scent worthy. Clean girl but make it sweet and organic.

First moment: glossier you with pear! Delicious, sexy, gorg. Then lots of lipstick, which I adore. Sadly on the dry down I have to agree with the windex comps. It might be a heavy hand on the ambrox. Takes it away from sensual and into industrial.

I love this DNA and this one would be amazing too, but because of the carrot seed and orris, it has a slightly bitter dry-down (similar to Bibbi Iris Wallpaper) that I personally don’t like.

OK so this is my new obsession. It's chic and makes me feel like 'that girl' in Paris on a Sunday morning in late Spring. Beautiful powdery iris grounded by slight savouryness due to the carrot seeds. It's a lovely skin scent with an intimate sillage. My husband couldn't stop picking up my wrist and smelling it. It's a little edgy but I really love it. Edit : This fragrance has completely disappointed me. I love it and have been wearing it on repeat for a couple of weeks. The opening is so gorgeous but after 10 minutes I have to press my nose against my skin in order to smell it. It's so frustrating.

A flower immediately turns into a fresh scent. Both synthetic - the flower is a plastic dusty one, the fresh scent is of a window cleaning spray. A VERY scent.

The opening is stunning! One of the best openings in the skin scent genre; sweet carrot and make-upy, dusty iris. Then it settles down, and smells exactly like Glossier - You. If you have one, you don't need the other. But I would go for this one because of the opening.

Pencil shavings + modern nondescript "perfumey" scent. They keep separate and underwhelming for a while. To scratch the first itch, I'd rather go for Amouage's library collection; to scratch the second, for VS Bare or d'Annam White Rice. By the drydown those two mate and become more than the sum of their parts, but it's a long underwhelming journey.

If you have to choose between this, Glossier and Fleur de Peau pick this one. It's way more affordable than Fleur de Peau and way more longer lasting and projecting than Glossier you, which in my opinion is a scam. I'm not looking for beast mode fragrances, but there has to be some kind of reasonable term in which you get what you pay for. Glossier is way too intimate for the price they're asking.

Sonic Flower opens with a lovely powdery iris from the orris, but it becomes far more bitter green than I was expecting. After 5 minutes the carrot seed comes through with an oakmoss type of aromatic green bitterness and the fragrance remains bitter throughout. Once the dreaded metallic ambroxan crashes the party with its slightly less obnoxious friend cashmeran, Sonic Flower becomes a sour jamboree of synthetics with florals and musk.

in my mission of comparing and contrasting this to you, fleur de peau, and studied, i keep coming back to sonic flower. its just so up my alley

while i like this one, i already own glossier you, both the edp and edt of fleur de peau, and henry rose's sheep's clothing... i might be in trouble if i buy another one of these scents... BUT...! out of all four of those, i think i like this one the most! i think it would wear the best in every season, and frankly i would say it's a combination of fleur de peau + you. sheep's clothing is probably the most winter-appropriate, however!

So similar to Glossier You - but a dustier version.

The carrot seed and pink pepper are prominent, but not in a good way. Wears dry and papery. Not a safe blind buy and no where near as good as You or Musk K!

If you enjoy the smell of pencils being sharpened, then look no further - here it is. Intimate and powdery. I think I mostly get the carrot seeds.
