Dark, quiet, sensual atmosphere. It feels mysterious and gothic, but in a very elegant, mature way. Definitely a night/evening perfume. I’m usually not a big fan of powdery fragrances, but here the powder beautifully accompanies the warm amber and resins, creating this velvety texture. It’s incredibly calming, almost hypnotic. I only wish the green notes from the opening lasted a little longer. It kind of reminds me of an old, empty theater, where the curtains and velvet/velour seats have absorbed all the luxurious evening perfumes of wealthy visitors over the decades. I have both this and Prada Amber Pour Homme Intense, they are very similar, but this one feels more mature and balanced. It has slightly less sweetness and more bitter greenness in the opening, is more powdery in the drydown, less "soapy," and has more animalic/leathery touch. Scent 9/10 Associations 8/10 Performance 7/10

Manly as hell 📈

Noir is fantastic. It's both mass appealing and sophisticated. Ultimate men fragrance for a romantic or formal night out.

The opening starts off very fougere-y, it's citric and green and sweet, but that fades away very quickly and you start to smell something very powdery and floral, it smelled like the powdery Iris from Dior Homme Parfum 2020 and come to find out after checking the notes, they both apparently use "Tuscan Iris". And for the dry-down you get an amber + vanilla + leather combo that works seamlessly with the smell and texture of the Iris. In my opinion it lands pretty unisex. I really really enjoy it and it is a very SPECIFIC kind of fragrance, it is really mysterious and Bruce Wayne-y, but not in the leathery and woody vibe, it is soft and powdery, like he would attend a late night party where he luckily has a night off, a black red tie suit with a long black wool or cashmere coat, it is very luxurious smelling. To me the performance was actually pretty good just from one spray on my hand, if i had a bottle and sprayed my whole neck i don't think performance would be an issue, and the scent itself is really mysterious and unique, i think it's best for it to be discovered than to fill up the whole room. 8-8.5/10 Dark, but in a sensual way. Noir.

Very unique, mysterious, yet wearable scent. Best worn for a night out but wouldn't feel out of place as a daily wear in the fall or winter. This is Tom Ford signature at its finest, before Estée Lauder took over and were afraid to be bold and instead made everything mass-appealing. Shame it's discontinued, but I'm happy to have picked it up before the gray market stock ran out and prices skyrocket. Performance is average. Overall: 8/10.

A bit dark and brooding, not exactly approachable or comforting. So distinctive, different, and striking. I wear this as kind of a fuck you. I don't care what people think when I wear it, all I know is I feel a sense of mysterious confidence when I have it on and I think it smells amazing.

This smells to me like a graveyard but it's not for me it smells good but the graveyard old people type smell isn't for me

A beautiful Gothic iris. I just love this so much and want a bottle. Dark, Gothic and elegant, but never predictable. This smells like an interior of a Victorian Gothic mannor house, elegant, dandified and masculine, yet with that unmistakable darkness. Wish it had more civet though, there is some vintage filth there, but it could do with more in my opinion. Doubling the civet would have made it an orgasm-inducing one for me. Yet I do not complain and am waiting for the opportune moment to get a bottle at discounters or buy a used bottle.

"Grandma" doesn't even come close. I don't think this is what grandmas smell like in 2026. This is what great-grandmas smelled like in 1979.

Old Lady Paste® plus Plastic Disposable Diapers®. Not woody, wtf. Not amber. Not spicy. Not what I consider aromatic, except to the extent that "technically you /can/ smell it." Not masculine. Not nice.

I’m coming to the end of my 100ml bottle of this and it’s safe to say I won’t be purchasing again. When I first bought this as a blind buy I didn’t really know what to expect other than the great Tom ford fragrance reviews I had read. Initially I enjoyed the scent it’s very strong projecting so no need to douse yourself in multiple sprays. The massive issue I had with this is I once had someone in the bar say I smelt like an old lady, that old lady type smell and although I was really offended she was right! Once you hear this it is all you smell. I would t 100% avoid this fragrance 2/10

Classic, but I would probably suggest testing it first as it is quite a personal scent.

Анонім

Love it, dark, elegant, aromatic

It's a cozy aromatic amber spicy scent. If you like warm oriental fragrances that work well for an evening dinner or event, this is a great option. This is a night time and/or cold weather scent. Age: late 20s and up. It leans masculine smelling. Lasts 8hrs or so. Overall rating: 7/10

In my opinion one of the best male fragrances ever made. Its one of its kind fragrances. Aromatic , oriental , woody , floral all at same time. But extremely seductive smell for a night.

Анонім

Classic. Absolutely Habit rouge or Creed Aberdeen Lavender feelings. Thats it.

A powdery slightly floral Amber, the best in the Noir lineup for me. In my opinion, this is pretty timeless and not mature or overly challenging at all. The civet here is very toned down, barely noticeable even on my bottle from the first year of release (AA2). I should also mention, I absolutely hate anything animalic, so don't be discouraged from trying when you see it in the note breakdown.

I would simply say it’s a flanker of Habit Rouge … the moment I sniff it , I wasn’t sure if they gave me a wrong sample .. but it is tom ford indeed!

In the air this smells like an improved version of La Nuit De L'homme which was launched before Noir. My guess is LNDL inspired this fragrance. I like it a lot, especially in the cooler months of the year. It could be a little stronger, but it is very good. After several wearing's something in this irritates my respiratory system so it was returned.

Hidden gem from Tom Ford. Dark, mysterious, not for the faint of heart. Not the greatest performance but this isn't something you want to fill rooms with. Prominent rose and iris with patchouli and amber in the dry down. Evokes nostalgia for a time I never lived in. Smells like how Bill Evans sounds.

I remember when I first started collecting and my nose wasn't adjusted to niche and out of the normal designer fragrances. This was one the samples I got in a pack and I did not like it at all back then. It wasn't scent I was use to and it smelled old fashioned and slightly feminine to me. Flash forward a few years later with a sizable collection and my nose has changed. I decided to give it another try considering Ive been really getting into TF, so I ordered another sample. I can now appreciate this beauty of a fragrance, and understand it. It's dark, mysterious, rich and somewhat retro (but not in a bad way). I think it's unisex down the middle. I've come to appreciate the note of rose in men's fragrances, especially when balanced with darker notes (patchouli, oud etc..) I guess this is another bottle I need in my collection as I don't have anything in this profile aside from maybe regio.

I loved the Noir Extreme Parfum, adored the Noir Extreme EDP, so I wanted to buy the one that inspired those two. I get a strong smell of rose though, it doesn't remind a lot of the ones aforementioned, it is still very likable though. 4/5

Immediately, it reminds me of a foggy walk like at a dark alley, but It’s not as goth or dracula as others make it out to be. Very unisex imo, i think my skin amplifies the vanilla so it registers a bit sweet. It’s not loud, it’s very intimate and timid. Reminds me of Prada Luna Rossa Black, but like the mysterious evil-ish twin brother.

I love it for some reason i get some pinnecone vibes....would buy always

Анонім

Borderline masterpiece creation. Only performance lets it down. Cool and cold weather, from casual to very dressed up, versatile despite what some say. Has the civet left the building? I sense no animalic edge at all in the new bottle? What a shame. I assumed they'd reformulated it, but the core seems very different... I still adore it, though.

Анонім

An extremely unique profile for a designer (non-private line). I love it, but can easily see it being a hate for people. Respect to Tom Ford, at least in this era for releasing something like this in their signature line.

Анонім

Smells like something Dracula would wear to your birthday party. The mid and dry down is a lot more pleasant but that opening should come with a full moon and some thunder & lightning!

Overall, Tom Ford's Noir is a superb, contemporary interpretation of oriental men's perfume. It has an undeniably masculine character, practical qualities, and stands out for its originality compared to recent mainstream releases. I recommend it for evening outings, though not necessarily for clubs due to its weight and suffocating effect in confined spaces with excessive sweating. However, it's ideal for cooler days, enveloping the wearer in a warm, sweet, and spicy aura. Noir is one of my signature scents. Key notes: Spices. Author: Olivier Gillotin. Year of release: 2012. My rating: Highly recommended! (7/7)

It smells like a musty, old man whose days away from a nursing home. I blind bought it and it was instant regret. I just don't understand how anyone could find this appealing but olfactory judgements are subjective. I expected a lot more but this is an absolute dud for me.
