My Name

I liked this one, which is sort of surprising. It come off first as a sweet baby powder scent, then dries down to a musky sweet, almost sugary scent. The musk gives it that clean skin scent with a background of a sweet vanilla. I'm not usually a gourmand lover, but this one is good because it's so beautifully blended. I liked it so much I may look for a full bottle someday when my sample is used up.

Got this for an after shower scent and it is that but it's also so much more. It's so gentle and graceful and oh so womanly. I'm not big on florals generally but I love lilac and it's done so well here. I don't think you'll enjoy this if you don't like powery, clean a little vintage smelling perfumes.

Divine. Please don’t judge it off the reviews, go and test it on yourself. I was looking for a simple floriental fragrance to wear in spring/summer, something that is light enough and good for layering as well as on its own, loved the notes in this so much but stayed away from it for too long because of some negative reviews. It’s not (just) powdery, soapy, clean or weak. It is floral. It has a creamy base. Projection is not as bad as people say at all. It is lovely. I tested it few times before finally getting it today. It was especially lovely when the weather was hot, rainy or just heavy and I was irritated, tired, sensitive and could not stand majority of scents around me, this is when My name truly shines. It lifted my mood and I could breathe and dream and love again. It is beautiful easy delicate ethereal angelic fragrance. Simple but not that simple. Just the right amount of sweetness there. Please test in on yourself if you are looking for something similar but unsure and don’t just brush it away because of the negative reviews as I have for too long.

Lovely clean powdery scent. Definitely great for the office and it's such a nice clean powdery scent to wear when you wish to feel clean with a tad bit of florals. Perfect scent to wear and feels and smells clean like you just got out of the shower. Lovely scent to wear in day time and during spring and summer time.

I just had the pleasant surprise of knowing about My Name by Trussardi. I love florals and this fragrance gives me clean, powdery, elegant vibe. It's my first blind buy. I was hoping for a comfy powdery fragrance for after shower and YES that's what it delivered. I've heard about the comparison to Flower by Kenzo or Nivea cream and it doesn't smell like them. I just look for a comfort scent and I got comfort and elegant. Very happy to have it. Edit: On my skin it projects 2h with 8h longevity.

I discovered that I don’t like powdery scents at all after trying this. Very feminine tho.

I blind bought My Name because I have been on a lilac kick ever since my Aunt passed. She loved flowers especially her huge white lilac tree in her front yard. So, if there is a lilac fragrance I think I will like I'm buying it. My Name starts off with a blast of violet following heliotrope. The lilac does show up and supports the composition but this is more a heliotrope and violet fragrance. I love it, even though I wish the lilac was more pronounced. Violet and heliotrope are favorites of mine as well. I don't really get lily here at all. I get more of a warm musky amber instead in the dry down. Very pretty purple floral. If you live for all things purple like I do, purple clothes, purple flowers. The smell of purple check this little inexpensive beauty out. The cap of this bottle is also kind of quirky. It's squishy. A very soft purple powder of a fragrance. I tested this on my mom and she loved it. I've been building her collection. She didn't have a purple floral. Now she does. I gave my bottle to her.

One of my all-time favorites. I wore it almost every day in spring and summer. Lilac and lily are one of my favorite flowers. It's delicate and lovely, but the longevity is so poor on me. It has a strong projection the first 30 minutes, but in less than an hour becomes a skin scent, and after three hours it vanishes.

If you love Zwitsal, you'll love this. A very safe blind buy. Smells baby-like. Very crowd pleasing. Not often that I can say it's a very safe office fragrance. If you want to step it up and replace the flowers with more wood: try Genetic Bliss by 27 87. It's just as cozy and has that "I woke up like this".

Lovely perfume, ideal for those who like powdery florals but at the same time want their fragrance to be delicate and discreet. It’s very feminine and cozy, all purple flowers are realistic, I don’t smell any synthetic notes. Musky base makes the composition even more comforting and fluffy. Sadly, on my skin it disappears really fast even if I bathe in it so that’s the reason I didn’t buy another bottle. But it’s worth testing for sure, especially for those who enjoy such scent profile :)

This perfume is a whimsical and delicate composition of purple flowers, vanilla and musk. It’s soft, enveloping and a bit sweet, and oh so perfect for springtime. Projection and longevity are moderate but I find myself catching some whiffs during the day. The rubber cap has been replaced for a crystal/hard plastic one and I think it’s a tragedy, it was so quirky and pleasant to touch :(

My Name by Trussardi is an inexpensive perfume that smells niche. It’s a soft, feminine floral “your skin but better” fragrance. The sillage is intimate but the scent is long lasting. It is well behaved and polite, appropriate for both the office or a mid-morning brunch. My Name brings to mind the delicately wrapped French soaps of luxury hotels and spas. The lily is most prominent on my skin with a lightly sweet vanilla base. It is best enjoyed in warmer weather.

The perfect purple floral. Not too sweet, but so lovely. Some violet scents can come off as a sharp sort of powdery to my nose, but this one feels smooth and powdery if that makes sense. Not synthetic, not too strong, but also not just a skin scent. It wafts around me and makes me smile throughout the day.

So pretty, it's like a daytime understated Guerlain Insolence.

Lovely but a little too bland and pretty. Can't see myself ever reaching for it unless I was going to a no perfume setting or days when I don't really want to smell of perfume, which is hardly ever lol. But it is very pretty

I imagine a vintage makeup scented lotion would smell exactly like this. It is a scent, evocative of my mom's old lipsticks and powders, that I enjoyed while I rummaged her vanity as a child. Pretty violet and lilac interwined together with the just right amount of powder. Somehow this feels like I applied myself very luxurious body lotion. Among the similar perfumes people voted, I see Dovana, which was too powdery and too much violet. My Name however is easier to my nose. I initially tested this gem at Milan airport and could not take off my mind since then. This was not easily available at US to my utter bewilderment! Finally got this one at Amazon at better price - I couldn't be happier.

This perfume is so addictive to me. I have been reaching for it almost every day since getting it and it always makes me smile. To me it smells like a mix of A Drop d'Issey and L'instant Magic with a heavenly dose of creamy almondy heliotrope. The most beautiful powdery fragrance. Only issue I have is that it isnt the most powerful or longlasting, but I am hoping that will improve over time. If you're a fan of powdery fragrances like Guerlain's L'instant Magic you will love this.

I got a notice about a recall for this due to an ingredient banned by Italy called BMHCA. Do not think it is banned in the USA (typical). Would you be concerned and discontinue? === I love Italian fragrance and GA Sensi. And L'Instant Magic (which I know is French, but it smells Italian to me!). So I spent more than I should blind-buying a big bottle of this. Thank God I love it, like a grown-up Love's Baby Soft or the way Pamela Anderson (I adore her) would smell, clean and innocent with a knowing wisdom in her eyes. Too bad it is so light. I would buy it at 5 times the strength, lol. If only it was a powerhouse like Sensi. Baby powder sweetness is cut with almond creaminess and a gentle heliotrope like LT Piver Heliotrope Blanc. I have loved all the Trussardi scents I have tried, and I don't understand why this brand is not more popular in the States.

This is entirely inoffensive, it smells to me like straight up floral baby powder that leans kind of sweet. The heliotrope, violet and musk are the only notes I get, and to be honest, this is a perfectly acceptable scent. I find it very boring but that is comforting in a way? It screams smart casual. You can wear it anywhere and it would work because it is inoffensive, doesn't travel far. Longevity is pretty good. It doesn't leave a trail, mostly sits close to the skin but you can smell it if someone is sitting next to you. This seems ok for most months, during very cold weather no sweetness comes from the powder but in warmer weather it tends to get vaguely sweet but not in a gourmand way at all. If you are looking for straight up rounded powder and nothing else, this is your scent. To me this is very middle of the road, would probably not repurchase but it is pleasant and wearable so I will definitely finish my bottle.

I got this and its candied violets on me the same way Guerlain L'Instant Magic is. Magic has a little more soapiness to it and Trusardi My Name is straight sugary sweet, candied violets. it's pretty, but I am bored of the scent.

I got this beauty a month ago, thx to the privat seller!, and, l absolutely love it! If someone says "powdery" or "soapy" about a perfume, l know that perfume is made for me, and, the more is in fact better! And this perfume is full of lilacs, lilys, violets, and lots of musk, and heliotropes? -l haven't got any clue to what heliotrope is about, but it sertainly smells jumminess!

This is just beautiful. I have use it for years and it's one of the my go to -parfumes. It was love at the first sniff. It's suitable year around. As someone said earlier - fluffy soft cloud. On my skin it's soft, little bit soapy, powdery and lilacy. Vanilla is there too. You can use it every occasion. It last on my skin about 7 hours.

Compared to many other perfumes, it's weak. It's pretty though, and doesn't smell cheap.

It is lovely..great for work. Works better on clothes for me than on skin, the longevity is much better. I was not expecting to like this so much. Just ordered a back up bottle from 50% sale. Good value for the money.
