Trussardi Donna (2011)

Beautiful floral scent with citrus opening.

I nearly moved this one along several months ago, but on returning from holiday at the tail end of a heatwave, with finally some freshness in the air, this turns out to be a great back to work fragrance. It keeps the cheery holiday vibe but work-focus appropriate. It may not be thrilling, but it’s happy and nice. Sometimes nice is what you need.

Very elegant - creamy, slightly lemony with freshness of white flowers. Somehow it makes me think of chic women, at a horse race show or something like that. Pleasant and the definition of inoffensive but ultimately boring and easily forgettable.

Aldehydes (which i like) and rotting rose petals (not so much). Cloying almost stale urine sweetness. Wow, I so dislike this. Scrubbed off, I get more green rose with soft woody dry down in the definitely vintage vein. Dislike on all fronts, but it’s not a huge Cut My Arm Off situation. Is there a Coyote Ugly for perfumes? This is not quite there, but it flirts with the border.

Beautiful, summer, creamy and lemony fragrance! It is elegant and mature, no sharp edges, just smooth and sophisticated. I wanted a replacement for DG light blue/ capri, and I have found it:)) reminds me of Italy, lemons, sun and sea. It is a mix of light blue and signature mont blanc. It is very mild, seems more like a deodorant. Edit : actually, let me correct myself, if I'm inside like house, I can feel it for 7-8 hours! But if I'm outside, I have a feeling it evaporates quicker...or maybe I cannot just feel it on me for some reason.

An easy to wear fragrance. Fresh and light. Good for both office and everyday wear. I like it and use it when I don't know what to wear and also because I keep it by the exit door. I can smell the jasmine in it and the citrus notes, but very "in the background". It was a gift and I don't think I will buy it, maybe because I like more "interesting" fragrances. But sometimes, interesting ones are difficult to wear.

A very beautiful citrus that is uplifting, classy, and a bit sweet, perfect for summer days! Some days it lasts more than others. Longevity on me is decent but find I have to reapply more often than some other perfumes, but it’s worth it for how beautiful it smells.

It is my favorite perfume, since I started my perfume collection. I found that if Nathalie Lorson is behind the creation all of them my favorites.

A beautiful creamy citrus with a hint of vanilla and quiet flowers! Rather fresh in the beginning and develops into a silky vanilla with woody notes. Elegant and sophisticatedly feminine.

Omg this perfume. After yers of wearing Armani Si, this became my next signature scent. The same perfume i was wearing when i met my first boyfriend(we're still together, 6 years now and counting). One time i went to another city just to surprise him and he recognised me by this very perfume before he even saw me. I have the Pink Marina flaker too but this is way better. It's light, sweet but not overly sweet, creamy and fresh. Good longevity and projection.

This is basically drinking jasmine tea with a heavy dose of lemons in it followed by woody vanilla drydown. It has an aquatic feel to it, fresh, and invigorating. This scent is similar to Elizabeth Arden Green Tea and Tommy Girl. It's a beautiful ultra feminine, elegant scent impossible not to love. If the longevity was better it would be 10 out of 10. The image I get when wearing this of an elegant lady on vacation somewhere in Italy wearing her enormous straw beach hat and her straw beach bag over her shoulder in her classy 1 piece bikini and oversized sun glasses. Love.

Every time I feel like decluttering this, something stops me. It’s a beautiful scent; it’s a luxurious bar of Italian lemon-scented soap. The bottle is stunning, classic, elegant and mature. But while I can appreciate its beauty, in bottle and in juice, when I spray it on myself, I find it difficult to connect with it. It doesn’t feel like me; it feels like someone I’m trying to be. Still, it takes me to a certain time and place, like the Venetian era, and its transportative quality is what’s probably making me hold on to it. There’s a coldness about it, in feeling, like white marble statues, but I’m drawn to it because it smells clean and like old money. I find the patchouli non-dominating, which is how I like it, but perhaps with the cedar in the base, it turns bitter on my skin. Overall, it’s a pleasant scent, but there’s a little tug-of-war between it being old-fashioned vs. timeless.

I think this is very nice, but not groundbreaking. Did she ever promise to be groundbreaking though? It's a designer scent. The white florals are well blended, which is all I ask for. Oddly enough, it smelled exactly as I imaged it. I think its worth the price and it fits in a family of creamy white florals that you will like if you know already that you like them. Safe blind buy, doesn't last forever 7/10

Trussardi Donna (2011) created by Nathalie Lorson to celebrate the centenary of the maison, this perfume is the essence of Italian elegance: bright, clean and sophisticated without ever being excessive. The opening is an explosion of freshly vaporized light, the perfume is striking for its liveliness. Yuzu and Amalfi Lemon offer a citrus freshness that is not sour, but rather sweet and juicy, thanks to a mix of generic fruity notes that make the onset sunny and sparkling. White Floral Femininity after about 15-20 minutes, the fragrance reveals its more romantic side. Jasmine and Orange Blossom create a clean, almost "soapy" bouquet in the noblest sense of the term. The lotus note adds an aquatic, transparent nuance, preventing the white flowers from becoming too heavy or cloying. The magic happens in the dry-down. Vanilla and Sandalwood emerge creating a creamy and velvety base that recalls the smell of clean skin after a day in the sun. Patchouli and Cedar give structure, but remain very discreet, guaranteeing excellent and enveloping persistence over time. Trussardi Donna is the ideal perfume for those looking for a fragrance that communicates cleanliness, class and brightness. It is the perfect choice if you love perfumes that smell of "good" and "white", but with a creamy base that avoids the too pungent effect of pure citrus fruits. It reminds me of a softer, sunnier version of Dior's Pure Poison.

I first encountered this scent when I was a second-year in law school and it was everything I imagined an everyday signature scent should be. My mum saw how much I liked it and got me a small bottle. I finished it, which is very rare of me, and I got a full-size bottle soon after. Worth every penny in my opinion. It starts off a bit citrusy but dries down to a creamy vanilla and a bit of white florals while keeping that zesty freshness in the background as well. Very beautiful, elegant signature scent for those who like a hint of sweetness.

It's my mom's signature. Stunning creamy white floral fragrance, very likeable and versatile. It's also quite sweet but not cloying at all. Can't imagine anyone with at least somewhat good taste/okayish sense of smell hating on this, it's just very pleasant overall. GREAT longevity and sillage! A steal for such price. What a beauty Donna truly is ❤️

This is lovely. It smells light, airy, extremely sweet and optimistic. Super clean and pleasant. It's also well-blended and no notes really stand out to me, it's just an overall scent experience. It does remind me of the colour white, and of hanging over the side of a boat on a warm sunny day, enjoying the feeling of the ocean misting against my skin. It's a very happy perfume that makes me nostalgic for "the good life". Something that doesn't exist in reality, or at least not in my reality, but it makes me think of being someone who has everything, and is enjoying it without any guilt or care in the world. It's like choosing to block out the news, and to close your eyes to the suffering of the people around you and just enjoy your life to the fullest. Total yacht vibes, smells very similar to my favourite, Donna Pink Marina, except without that fresh sorbet note that makes it so special. Unfortunately, much like Donna Pink Marina, this perfume really doesn't last. It may last a little better than DPM, but not by much. I love the Donna line so I'm definitely considering the Intense, but I worry it won't have that beautiful freshness that you can only get with a lighter formulation. This is an EDP but it truly performs like an EDT. That is my only issue with Donna and Donna Pink Marina (which is my favourite summer scent of all time but I will never repurchase due to poor performance).

This is a stunner!!! Here we go again! Another Nathalie Lorson scent I adore! This woman just gets me! lol This scent is understated elegance and would be appropriate just about anywhere! I adore the yuzu in this! Is bright in the top, but then warms into the most gorgeous creamy vanilla and jasmine combo. I start to get the patchouli, cedar and sandalwood in the base but they sit further back, but make this so classy! I also feel like this is a year round fragrance! Sure, it has that bright citrus and fruit in the top but it really wears beautifully in any season! It’s fabulous!

I must be in the minority along with a couple of reviewers who aren’t getting the citrus notes in this, at least not in the forefront, but instead getting a white floral vanilla (and a hint of benzoin?). Clean and sophisticated. A safe choice for the office or a gift, whilst still being sophisticated and distinct. I’ve been complimented more than once. This was my signature fragrance before I started exploring more daring scents but I still revisit it from time to time.

Effortlessly good. It is basic, smells like lemon/citrus, and powdery vanilla. I really like it, it’s a nice everyday scent.

Lemon opening. Followed by a floral scent. Then the fruity notes start to come up, and that what you smell mostly. I like it, but on my skin I'm not sure how long it's gonna last. 🥹 I shall come back and edit my review if it lasts.

Lovable scent for summer. Awesome opening of lemon turning bubble gummy with jasmine. With gentle, fruity tones. It is light, it is fun, it is floral yet not obviously so. Just what I needed today. If it will have a good presence during a day I'll keep it at love level. Unfortunately it has only 3 hours of projection and the next 3 hours of being skin scent. Then anyone hugging you can feel the cute and fresh scent with a very subtle gourmand edge. But for the weaklish performance I need to lower it back to like. Very good, easy reach and everyday, work scent though.

Generic and inoffensive "fresh" perfumey fragrance.. the fresh lemony opening is nice which gave it promise but it dries down to just "early 2000s perfume" vibes.. if you know what I mean. I see lots of "niche" influencers these days hyping this one up as an affordable fragrance but there isn't anything special about this other than them not wanting to recommend middle Eastern fragrances (in preference of western frags) many of which which are more affordable and they are more unique and modern. But if you like that kind of early 2000s perfume smell Then you might enjoy this one .. personally I'm bored with this perfume DNA. The longevity is also not great either. But if you want a very safe and forgettable fragrance, just to wear a fragrance that is unlikely to offend anyone. Edit: To be honest it smells better on paper than it does on my skin because the fresh top notes are gone in 5 minutes, but maybe other people will have better luck on skin.

The opening gives me a headache. I really had hopes for this, because it has so many good reviews. Well, I tried.

When I first smelled it, I expected a basic white floral with a bit of citrus - the usual fresh, inoffensive, forgettable kind of scent. But I was genuinely surprised! Donna is indeed floral, but also fruity, sweet, and juicy. I’m not sure what’s hiding behind the mysterious “fruity notes”, but it gave me a sensation of licorice - maybe plum or blackberry. There’s something unexpected in there that really gives it a unique twist. What’s interesting is that, despite this fruity richness, the citrus and jasmine are still present, adding freshness and softness to balance it all out. In the end, this fragrance turned out to be much more complex than I anticipated. A little crush, especially considering how affordable it is online. Truly a great find!

A must try for white floral enthusiasts like myself. It opens with lovely lemon, yet it's not "fresh". And then I personally smell grapes, jasmine and orange blossom. There is also a very subtle charred note that I love. It's this note that saves Donna from being generic to my nose. Very nice.

I don’t wear it outside—I tend to be cautious with fragrance, preferring softer, more universally palatable scents in public. But Donna has become a private pleasure, something I enjoy entirely for myself. I later discovered another Trussardi gem—Pure Jasmine—which carries a similar cozy, at-home spirit, though it tells a very different story. It’s a reminder that you don’t have to spend extravagantly to find something beautiful and enduring. Sometimes, the best things are already waiting in the drawer—you just have to be ready to meet them.

Creamy, fruity white florals! I wish I had tried this sooner. Didn’t know what to expect from Trussardi, but now I definitely want to try My Name and possibly more. My new favorite spring/summer scent.
