It has everything to do with shared anticipation. The play has ended. The city lights. Nobody is rushing. You’re both deciding where the evening continues.

Анонім★★★★★

I've got both ( oud wood and oud noir) and I prefer oud noir any day! Lasts longer as well!

Анонім★★★★★

Childish, reminds me some sugary soda beverages. Extremely wearable BUT age sensitive.

Анонім★★★★★

Oud + cardamom+ pepper Beautiful. However it becomes a skin scent in 2hours. So only apply for dinners. Very weak on my skin

Анонім★★★★★

Nice and safe oud scent. Oud is all I smell here, it's a certain rounded or tamed form of it. But still, it also has some sweetness + I just sprayed Oud Wood on my other hand and I conclude that this is much closer to Ombre Leather (which I also have) than to Oud Wood. Oud Wood has "high" notes in it that are totally absent here (unless my tester has leaked those high notes), the sweetness profile is totally different and finally, Oud Wood has barely any direct oud in it, it is perhaps "oud translated" to something at best while Oud Noir certainly has direct oud.

Анонім★★★★★

7.4/10 Perfectly simple and easy to wear oud.

Анонім★★★★★

Like everyone is saying, this is a great introduction to oud! I've been working my way through a decant, and maybe I'll get a full bottle closer to wintertime. It's fun to experiment with scents that are outside my profile for me, and while I don't usually full-send it and hop onboard afterwards, I feel like I'm learning through my nose. If you're new to oud, give this one a try! 6.5/10

Versace Pour Homme Oud Noir is a brilliant, highly accessible entry point into the world of woody-oriental fragrances. It handles a complex, dark note with classic Italian effortless elegance (sprezzatura). While the fragrance has officially slipped into discontinued status, securing a bottle on the secondary market provides a gentleman with an incredibly polished, versatile, and smooth signature for the cooler months.

Owning both Tom Ford Oud Wood and Versace Oud Noir, I recommend Oud Noir as a great, budget-friendly substitute when you want to scratch that Oud Wood itch. It’s perfect for casual days when you just want to spray away and enjoy the scent. It pushes a bit more spice from the opening to the mid, but the dry-down is the star of the show and is incredibly similar to the OG. It has decent projection for the first two hours before it becomes a skin scent, much like the OG.

Анонім★★★★★

Has a sweet opening. Not cloying in any way though. A very fresh oud fragrance. Doesn't quite hit the same highs as Tom Ford Oud Wood for me. This fragrance may be more affordable, but it is officially discontinued.

More smooth, more wearable version of Tom Ford Oud Wood.

This is a nice smell but the longevity is the downfall on my skin. I like it and on my skin it is a year round day or night fragrance as it is weak and not long lasting despite expectations for an oud forward scent profile. I really like how this smells and it is classy. I have never smelled Oud Wood, I will get around to it some time perhaps but I tend not to go in for overpriced anything. On the other hand I have some other Oud forward fragrances such as a dupe of Layton Exclusive which is called French Avenue Mirage Absolu. I prefer this Versace. Same for Boss Bottled Absolu (not a big fan of that). Gucci Intense Oud I prefer to this it has better everything really and same price (bought both for about €70 on discounters). I do like this though and I would probably put it in second place of my Oud forward fragrances. Brioni EDP Intense offers a very different Oud scent profile so I would not put them in the same scent profile. Overall this is smells great, lasts a few hours just like Versace Pour Homme. Actually both of those fragrances smell really nice but just have terrible longevity. So just go into it knowing it does not have good longevity but smell really nice and you will not be disappointed. 3.95/5 good but not great. Happy too have it all the same

I really like this stuff, I bought a tester for 80 cad to use inbetween wears of Oud Wood which I save for going out. It totally satisfies this purpose, I am very happy I bought this. A peppery orange opening, with noticable cardamom to make things warm, a leathery saffron that envolopes the notes, olibanum makes it very regal and opulent and a base of patchouli, woods and a slightly medicinal but very aproachable oud is eventually revealed. Overall it is blended to perfection and has a very “Versace” feel. I would say it’s 75% similar to OW and the other 25% is Versaces twist on the DNA. They are cousin fragrances, it’s not a clone. To me it’s very masculine and is a total “bad boy” fragrance, wear this with a leather jacket and shades. It isn’t loud but when people get near you they will smell it. It could also be dressed up all the way to formal, so it is quite versitile. I think it suits cooler weather better but I would happily wear it anywhere under 20c. As for age I think anyone over 18 will do well with this, it’s too dark and brooding for teens. Performance is average don’t let anyone tell you it’s “weak”. People who say this have fried their noses from too many nuclear Dubai special perfumes. Just put it in a travel atomizer and spritz some more on half way through the day, problem solved. Lasts about 7 hours and has moderate sillage. Really good purchase I recomend. I give it a solid 9/10, a tremendous value and overlooked gem.

I can see how people find this similar to Versace Man, though I really can’t enjoy it whereas Versace Man is fantastic. This one isn’t pleasant. 6.5/10

Анонім★★★★★

One of the most overlooked fragrances, good compliment getter, and has a mix between middle eastern and western fragrance aspects. more friendly oud profile for people not used to the smell, and the oud is not the major part of the scent profile. Overall smells fantastic, and has a lot of depth, but it has no projection, and a mediocre longevity for the type of fragrance it is supposed to be. 9/10

Анонім★★★★★

This is an excellent perfume for the price. Out of all the Oud Wood–style fragrances and clones, this is my favourite. I honestly wish I’d started with this one, I could have stopped there. I’d wear this over Thameen Carved Oud and Lamasat Oud any day. It’s not on the same level as Tom Ford Oud Wood, but for the price, you wouldn’t expect it to be. It has its own twist: more bitter orange and pepper, with less vanilla and overall sweetness in comparison. Performance and projection is honestly not that bad, given the price, you can over spray this one. I find it will project off skin for a few hours and stick to clothes for 6 hours. A solid 8/10. Well done, Versace.

Scent 9/10 Longevity 3/10

Where to start... I got this as blind buy after reading raving reviews in a mostly unanimous way. Mostly because it is widely compared to TFOW which I love and have the parfum version. I read reviews that it's a bit spicier and citrusy version of OW so I said, if it's the same scent profile with a twist, bring it on! I received it and sprayed it on... only to find out that it's quiiiite different and it maybe only shares very few nuances, but it definitely steers in a totally different direction and I wouldn't dare to call it a dupe, not even an inspiration. Anyways, it's a strange and unique scent. A good one, but it doesn't make me go crazy like I hope it would. It's very soapy to my nose, a clean soapy smell with a peppery opening mixed with that orangy citrus edge. The soapiness never goes away and stays the entire time until it fades away. Woodyness comes in once the pepper fades away, and you get hints of a very mild oud here and there but always in the background as a companion and never strong or aggressive at all. After the opening fading away, it remains pretty linear until it disappears. I'm a bit dissapointed in terms of longevity and projection. Performance isn't as good I thought either. I don't know if it's me in particular, but sillage is terrible and I can't smell it on me much, even after like 10 sprays! Noseblind? Maybe. Anyways, if TFOW longevity is bad, this one isn't too far behind and only slightly better. I like the scent, it's different, good blend, but not my favorite profile or notes. I will give it a chance for it to grow on me. This one confuses me a bit in many ways :) Update - Performance is definitely weak. Longevity is on par with the original OW. On late drydown, the oud note is more prominent. Still, this fragrance is a clean soap scent. I would not buy this again after finished if I ever finish the bottle haha. I'll just put it up for sale.

It starts with citrus for few seconds, then comes a strong burst of fresh pepper in the opening, with noticeable saffron and cardamom. Attention: you have to like black pepper, as it will be highly noticeable for some hours until you feel other notes. Oud is there after some time. (update: after trying it few times, the overall smell of pepper decreased with the usage. Maybe the perfume macerated, or the pepper was concentrated in the bottom) Sillage is shy. I have to smell my skin (or clothing) directly to feel it. The quality of the materials is high, and the oud is present but not overpowering. As this fragrance was designed to introduce oud to the Western market, it feels relatively simple and somewhat fresh. Nevertheless, this is for confident and mature individuals, as it is stronger than typical fresh fragrances, perhaps not the best choice for younger people who prefer sweeter scents. In short, a very elegant fragrance.

This is the most sophisticated and sensual fragrance for men by Versace. If it’s true that it has officially been discontinued, that is truly a great loss for the perfume world. However, I managed to secure a 300 ml supply of this perfume gem. As for the scent itself, the comparison to Tom Ford Oud Wood is justified—but only in the opening. After that, Tom Ford evolves more and goes in a different direction, while Oud Noir remains mostly linear throughout. Versace Pour Homme Oud Noir is intense and sexy, with excellent strength and projection—a must-have for all perfume lovers.

to me this one is okay, the first 10 minutes is cardamom heavy, the drydown is good and non offensive. you can get other designers that's also centered around the oud note that are much better than this one. when i'm done with my bottle i won't be purchasing this again

Interesting experience. I mostly bought this bottle to complete my Versace Pour Homme trilogy (with the Pour Homme and Dylan Blue), plus I wanted a dedicated oud scent that is easy to wear. This is slightly different to my expectation. Its opening is a bitter orange peel with neroli, with pepper-ish "sting" to it. It dries down to a slightly woodier version of itself (with a bit of dry oud), yet the bitter orange doesn't disappear like I expected. The projection is good, but even as a "background" skin scent it works well. I'm usually a fan of bold sweet or citric fragrances, or fragrances with natural spices, and this is none of that. But don't get me wrong, I like this fragrance quite a bit. It has some nostalgic factor to it, since I used to keep orange peels in my wardrobe when I was small to deter moths and keep my clothes fresh. This is a good reminder to where I came from, and would work perfectly as an on-clothes scent with light sprays. I would wear it in winter, yet I would like to test it in warmth of summer aswell. 7.5/10, is nice EDIT: I have figured out the weird opening notes! The "funk" comes out when applied on some clothes. I have tried ditching the clothes for a recent test, putting it straight on body skin, and it skipped the opening, and went to its peak performance right after settling. Natural body oils make a real change here, and let this scent shine in new colors! In terms of rating, it has now overtaken Eros EdP.

This is phenomenal! Definitely some Oud Wood DNA. The opening is photorealistic bitter orange rind, crushed black pepper, with a hint of saffron, along with some familiar OW facets. It fades into the heart notes within the first hours and you are left with much more rugged and masculine take on Oud Wood. It's spicier and woodier, with some green spice, yet lacks some of the cleanness of OW: notably the rose wood and some other fresher aromachemicals (linalool especially comes to mind). I honestly prefer this to OW in its current incarnation, and I wish I had bought a bottle of this instead of my most recent bottle of OW, that I picked up just over a month ago. My bottle was purchased second hand at about 85% full and has a batch code reflecting a 2022 production and the performance is slightly above average for a fragrance of this style (nice way of saying it's a twist on the Oud Wood DNA). It definitely outlasts OW in terms of projection, longevity, and sillage. I get about 5 hours of performance on skin, great projection in the first hour and a half, slowly receding to a skin scent by hour 4 and leaving a faint hint of spice, wood, and patchouli in the last hour. It lasts over 10 hours on clothing, which is typically how a wear the majority of most of my fragrances (one spray on the back of both hands which I run on my wrists, then a spray under my shirt collar and two on top of my chest over my shirt . It's not a beast by any means, but easily outpaces modern formula of Oud Wood. This fragrance is notorious for having counterfeit bottles in circulation dating back over a decade, if you are having performance issues there is a strong possibility that you have a fake, or it could be due to a more recently opened bottle needing to mature with some air inside.

Анонім★★★★★

Peppery oud tone of spices elegant but not for everyone. Wish it is little bit stronger. I get 2,3h max I love the scent so I tried to find something similar but with better performance. The only one that got close was Kredo by Nishane. Not papery airy but way more complexed, thick, dose of animalic touch, crazy performing. The rest of the similar to Versace dna wasn’t spice enough.

Анонім★★★★★

I can imagine myself wearing this only when i wear a suit

Анонім★★★★★

Very spicy. Think diced red chili peppers thrown into a hot frying pan. Dark, heavy wood notes with a clean and fresh earthiness. A hand carved camphor chest sitting on the cool damp ground in the middle of a forest. In the background a smooth, bittersweet, herbal smokiness lingers. Similar to that of snuffed out incense cones. OUD NOIR first presents itself with a sense of superiority, a youthful arrogance. Followed by sophistication, a well traveled and old-world soul. There is an underlying restrained, vibrant fierceness to it wanting to break free. It demands attention and respect, while still being graceful. The fragrance is bold and in your face for a solid hour. It then mellows out but stays noticeable for 6-7 hours more. This is nothing like Tom Ford’s OUD WOOD. If you’re searching for something similar to that, look elsewhere.

Анонім★★★★★

THE REAL REASON EVERYONE LIKES THIS IS... ...Because it is more affordable than Tom Ford's Oud Wood....Let's be honest. Now don't get me wrong, I have worn both and I have enjoyed both. Tom Ford's version is a little bit more earthy while Ver-sayce's version is a little more spicy. And by spicy I mean VERY peppery in the opening. It takes about 1-2 hours to develop depending on how much your body heats up. But once all that jazz goes away and dries down, this is just ok. I would usually mix this with something fruity to make the patchouli stand out more and was always surprised by the blends. Even with ALL THIS SAID.... I feel this is not a safe blind buy, I would rate it 6/10 for blind buy. And for overall scent, 5/10. "WHAT'S THE REASON ! ? ! ? ! ?...." (INSERT CARDI B. VOICE HERE)

At first I didnt really like this fragrance that much, but now I've been wearing it all day, I can say I think it's really great. Very addictive and beautifully put together fragrance.

Анонім★★★★★

Am I crazy? I like 2 sprays of Versace Oud Noir and 2 sprays of Elizabeth Taylor Passion for Men. Both are okay on their own—but together? It’s the most incredible thing.

I’ve had this for almost a year and WOW has the smell evolved in that time. It went from a blast of Orange and Pepper to being Sweet Dark and Spicy. Give it time folks. You won’t be disappointed
