strong, powerful, even sensual vibes but a bit too intense for me
The smell is alright, floral-sweet-powdery a bit sharp, if you haven't tried lots of perfumes, you will find this one very expensive, luxury smelling, clean girl vibes, put together. This is in the ok-alright category, it's not in the wow, I love it category one. You can find better, not worth the hype. Let's say you can pull this also in the summer but when it's lower temperature than usual, maybe more to evening than day, this one in other seasons can be both day and night. Not worth the money at all neither the hype, cheaper fragrances can be more long lasting than this one, whatever, celebrity, heck, even arabic perfumes perfom much better even though I'm not a fan anymore, I paid almost 100 Euros for this perfume and not being able to smell it anymore after 30 min...no no big no, are better options out there. This is in the dislike category.
Was curious to try this as it seems so popular. Just another cloying sweet sickly car airfresner type perfume, to my nose there's just something nasty in it that I can't quite work out. Save your money and try something from Zara instead.
This is one of my favourites. It’s so versatile. It’s hard not to like. Moderate projection and longevity
Maybe I’m off my hinges, to me this smells like a high class version of Gucci Guilty Pour Homme. It’s definitely unisex, leaning masculine. As a male, this does not smell like something I would want to smell on a woman, I would rather smell it on myself. Speaking of MYSLF, Libre is a warmer more comforting slight sensual version of the same idea. MYSLF is more fresh laundry, Libre is more fresh clean human. Regardless this smells a lot more similar to Gucci Guilty EdT and Gucci Guilty Parfum pour Homme than anything else to my nose.
I wore this for YEARS and I have no idea how or why. My only explanation is that I was depressed and didnt care what I smelled like. So I'd just routinely spray the perfume on my dresser because my zombie mind knew I needed to do that before I walked out the door. I never smelled it on me nor did I ever even think about how I smelled. I was a zombie that purchased this because it was mass marketed I guess. Fast forward to me now, happy and obsessed with scents... if I spray a perfume and it even remotely reminds me of this, I will GAG! It doesnt have a particular note that stands out, it just smells like the phrase "corporate perfume for the anti-personality nose blind zombie". Sorry for being so negative, this is the only review like this that will come from me. Do better people!
i see a lot of comment as this Libre is generic and smells like 100 other perfumes. Could you please list some substitutes? I like to spritz heavily but this one is quite expensive, so some names of similar perfumes would be highly appreciated
I wish men wore Libre instead of classic fougère perfumes. This is so incredibly sexy ! Meanwhile, traditional men's fougères just smell so bad to me
This did nothing for me. Anytime I venture out of my typical scent profile, I'm disappointed. It's just sweet and powdery on me, nothing remarkable. It smells very basic, generic even. I never reach for it, so it was a waste of money.
Absolutely terrible when I first tried it. I love Prada Paradoxe. After a month or so (which is this day) I tried Libre again. How on earth did it smell like Paradoxe now. :3
Gave me a terrible headache. The berry crush flanker smells better.
Smells almost exactly like myslf edp
Idk it just smells like the duty free at the airport. Not for me, but not offensive. Definitely on the masculine side, but most lavender forward scents are to me
it smells absolutely disgusting
The initial white floral and orange blossom tick my "dislike" box, but the drydown to lavender is acceptable. I won't buy this.
Signature worthy, mass appealing scent that’s popular for a reason. It really blends citrus, floral, vanilla and the aromatic lavender beautifully. Super versatile scent. Only things I dislike is how popular it is and the cheap looking bottle.
I smelled this in Sephora this past weekend and fell in love, so I purchased the travel size until I can afford the 100ml bottle lol. it's masculine but I love it!
herhangi bir adam kötü değil ama çok sıktı
This is comforting but not in a wearable way. It's pungent masculine-leaning fresh grandma laundry. IDK how else I would describe it. If it could be smoothed out, it'd be really nice.
Decided to blind test it from a sample. My first impression is it smells elegant but unobtrusive. Something you could wear day to night. A well tailored black suit jacket over a little black dress with a string of pearls. It's nice. It does have a bit of that modern architecture feel, but like... If it was photographed for a mass market Women's mag. A celebrity trying to be relatable. I am not the person this is for, but I see why other people love it. I'd dig it as a bubble bath in a fancy hotel.
Revisited to look at the reviews and boy, am I glad! to me, while it's a nice perfume it does feel common and also feels a lot closer to YSL over red and no one believed me. I enjoy the ysl one and felt I shouldn't have bought this.
i am the mass-market who likes this scent. it is stereotypical 'perfume' in a sense but doesn't have any of those cloyingly sweet or old powdery notes i find many other mainstream oerfumes have, it is eternal, the sillage is insane. when i sweat it becomes very masculine and almost an entirely different perfume but both scents are great, it has a really good strong base which i now like to layer with other fragrances for more of a bold scent profile. i wore this when i just needed to know that the perfume im wearing was long lasting and you could smell it through the day, which you definitly can with this
I really enjoy leaving detailed reviews on here but I simply despise this one too much.
this was shit. it smells like every other expensive perfume- nothing cool and nothing worth raving about. the lavender is hardly there. where is it? i don't know.
One of the better releases from a mainstream designer perfume house in the last 10 years. They were pretty brave to market a fougere to women. It definitely is wearable, and the vanilla is well done. Just enough of orange blossom and lavender to not turn off those who don't do florals.
This fragrance smells like any other average cologne on the market and after about and hour of it on my skin it makes me a bit dizzy. Just a very average perfume in my opinion.
smells like cologne 🤣 very masculine
I’ve tried to like this several times, but with my chemistry, it smells like pee on a freshly waxed gym floor. Clearly, it works for a lot of people, so make your own test. Wouldn’t recommend a blind buy.
Just one word - masterpiece! ❤️💪🏻
This is a very light but pleasant fragrance. The floral notes are very pretty, but not strong at all. It doesn't seem to last very long. I applied it less than 30 minutes ago and it's already hard to identify any notes. It might be because of the lavender as I've always found that lavender doesn't have very good staying power in a perfume. It just blends together and smells lightly floral and a little musky. I'd wear it if I found a larger bottle but I don't find this scent particularly special. It smells very similar to many other floral scents.
