Musc K

Translated very badly on my skin. It smelled like a pungent fart. It might be better on your skin, but on clean skin, in warm weather, it smells a bit sulfuric on my skin, idk why

This is basically Glossier 'You' but a more mature, grown up take on it, 'Musc K' is more chic and refined. It does have a laundry esc smell but it's in the background. AND IT LASTS WAYYY LONGER!!! 'Musc K' reminds me so much of how my hispanic customer smells (THIS IS NOT A DIG), a lot of them have this clean scent that's crisp yet sweet and I've always wondered what it was. My friend who's Salvadorian had this scent and I asked her because she doesn't wear perfume and always smells so clean, she said it was the detergent + fabric softener she used, the brand 'Ensueno'. When I went to the store to smell it this is what 'Musc K' remind me of. AGAIN, this is not a dig or shade to my hispanic customers, they just always smell so clean and crisp and it's always this scent. So the 'Ensueno' washing products project + linger like crazy because I can always smell them in the air! Always thats just my little story on how this scent is very familiar to me. 'Musc K' is definitely strong its project very good on my skin and I sprayed on my hand like 1.5hrs ago so im sure it'll last you through the day. It's safe to say I will definitely be picking up a bottle when I finish the 'meh' fragrances in my collection!

This one of the best, if not the best, musk fragrance there is! The hype is warranted. Now I wanna try many more from Ella K. Just bought Reflet Sur L 'Okavango and it's otherworldly beautiful!

Musc K somehow bridges the gap between crisp and soft. This has quickly become one of my favorite wear-to-work perfumes -- it gives "Professional and ambitious" mixed nicely with, "I'm absolutely willing to listen." On a personal note, my boyfriend smelled me this morning and said, "Oh, I like that one-- which one is it?" Love it.

Glossier You but better. Notes are balanced to counter warm salty amber with cold woods and powder dusted skillfully over. The absence of an uninvited iris is the clincher. A high quality clean girl fragrance.

She's light, airy and smells like heaven. The very definition of a clean girl scent. Beautiful presentation with heavy, frosted glass bottle, and subtantial gold lid. Looks beautiful on my perfume tray.

This is one of those perfumes that you should try it on your skin. When I first sniffed it directly from the bottle it was nothing but a doppelgänger of Glossier You. I was so disappointed not because I hate You (in fact I love You!) but because I was looking for something new. I sprayed it on the blotter to see if it'd develop. It didn't. It was still Glossier You. Usually I would just give up and walk away but there has to be something for a perfume to get this much hype, right? So I decided to spray it on my wrist anyway without much expectation at that point. And I gasped. It still had the Glossier You vibe but it was something new. An unexpected newness I didn't know I was craving! Musc K, to my nose, is very neroli forward perfume. It almost feels like it's a cousin of Eau des Sens from Diptyque (but fluffier and softer, I'd say). Neroli isn't on the note list but it is neroli to me somehow. And this is the first ever neroli perfume my nose can accept without giving me an headache! I had adored the scent of neroli itself but it always gave me an headache... You've got no idea how happy I am now. It is fresh and clean just like everybody says, it's true. The ultimate white t-shirt perfume for sure. It is white but with a hint of greenness IMO, making it even fresher. I love this. The only down side of this is the price tag. Damn.

Lovely fragrance…initial spray it reminded me of Glossier You & Henry Rose - London 1983, yet it’s the MOST standout of them ALL🥰‼️💓 The bottle is soo chic with a heavy cap, I got the NEWER frosted bottle, plus the atomizer is perfection. I went around my Hubby after showering & spraying this perfume on, & he was like YES, I like your fragrance…trust me when he speaks up, it means a lot since generally it can feel like pulling teeth to get him to recognize my fragances. This is a fragrance you can truly wear anytime, & spray as much as you like…it’s one I am going to LOVE over spraying.

I could not be more obsessed with this fragrance. Discovered her 3 years ago in Paris and she’s been my #1 every since. Something about this fragrance just works so well with my skin and there has NEVER been a day that I’ve worn this where I haven’t been complimented by at least one person. The epitome of Chic, Elevated, Your Skin But Better, with incredible lasting power and projection. I get a good 9-10 hours on my skin and on clothes this lasts for days. Also plays well with so many other fragrances. I absolutely love it.

The official description of the perfumer is about nature, but I have a feeling I am passing by a laundromat. PURE MUSC BLANC by NR (2026) uses the same chemical, but their "fresh laundry" smell is much stronger. Blanche by Byredo is a different kind of "laundry chemical", even worse and absolutely unwearable for me. Musc K is not as loud, it is softer, more rounded and I find it wearable. It does not smell like obvious Ambroxan (You is just flat Ambroxan, not even a good kind of Ambroxan). Musc K has a more interesting mix of Ambers and Muscs. Imagine passing by a secretary wearing a white shirt and lot of paper - that's how it smells. Soft cleanness aura makes it a perfect scent for a hotel lobby or a reception. Opens like a high quality soap/laundry detergent and settles into a soft slightly powdery sweet skin scent. Inoffensive, slightly forgettable, but steadfast in being Completely reliable in making you smell nice. Perfume version of your old favorite tshirt.

This is as if Byredo Blanche and Bal d’Afrique had a baby. If you like clean laundry scent profiles you might like it. I don’t. It’s not poetic.

Very powdery musk but settled into a cat pee scent

This to me smells like glossier you and diptyque fleur de peau edt had a baby. So fresh and clean and lasts soo long. I got a sample but I NEED a full bottle. Very layerable and suitable for any season or occasion.

Musc K performs the way you wish Glossier You would. They smell SO similar with Musc K being a little fresher and brighter than You. To me, this is the most perfect clean scent I've ever tried. It's like a laundry scent, a molecule skin scent, and a musk scent had a baby. It's got the best facets of all those DNA's along with fantastic performance. I have zero complaints. Musc K is worth every dollar and my signature daily scent for a reason.

I broke my brain trying to figure out what this fragrance reminded me of from my collection. Then I saw the comparisons to Tilia, and yes, I totally agree. For me, it's very close to Tilia, with a few nuances here and there, but overall they smell very similar to my nose.

This is more of a presence, a type of aura fragrance. The first few minutes you don’t get much but after about 5 minutes you get a fresh, almost minty (probably from the vetiver) presence. It’s a silage perfume, not a projector. It’s perfect for work, if you work in healthcare. It’s fresh, kinda like an aftershave that lasts much longer. Today was my first day wearing to work and got a compliment first thing.

I am now transitioning to my clean girl era. And I bought a 10 ml decants of Musc K. When I received it, i sprayed it immediately and I fell inlove to it. It projects and longevity is so good.. I already ordered a 100 ml bottle. Mandy approved 💯✔️

White, clean musky, very slightly peppery scent. Like paper It smells like the color white. Pleasant but not unique. It doesn’t have an aspect in it that’s blowing me away. I’m pretty sure you can get a similar scent profile for a lower price w/ any white musk type scent So although I like it, it’s good, but I personally wouldn’t spend the hefty price tag for this, it’s not worth the ‘niche’ price for me

Good projection and longevity on this. This fragrance will be very dependent on your skin but it pulled a very nice slightly sweet musk on me with a nice woody aspect to it. Although it probably isn’t complex enough for me to justify the price tag.

I envy people who are getting all those nice notes and are capable to enjoy this scent in all the beauty they get. For me this feels like more quality version of Glossier You, with way better projection and longevity. However my issue with both perfumes is the same - I am getting pencil shavings, dust and old leather gloves. I don't want to smell like this.

Don't really get the hype around this one tbh. Its fine. Neither remarkable nor awful. Cedar always inevitably makes me think hamster cage bedding and I have issues smelling some musks so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Oh my God this brand makes some absolute stunning fragrance and this one is one of them just gorgeous and incredibly crafted verry smooth and relaxing also good longevity, letre de puskar also my favourite 😍 10/10

on my skin, this is super comparable to sonic flower! less so glossier you, less pencil shavings. i like this but it's very redundant in my collection so i won't be upsizing my sample!

First of all, Ella K has some amazing perfumes, although they are not cheap. This is one of my favorites from the brand. It’s a clean, musky, ‘white’ scent, I find it less ‘laundry detergent’ smelling than some other people commented below. I don’t find it similar to ‘powdery orris - Nishane Meant to be Seen’ either, like others mentioned below. For me, this is just the definition of clean. It starts a bit harsh but that definitely doesn’t bother me, kind of enjoy the peppery opening. Dry down is smoother. And longevity is amazing, probably the longest lasting from all my musky fragrances. I suggest you sample it before buying, I feel Ike you will either love it or hate it. Perfect for layering too! Works well with almost everything.

I'm a bit flummoxed by this one. Maybe it has just been so hyped by creators that smelling it I was just sort of underwhelmed and also not on the same page.. enough so that the first time I assumed I had a different sample on. I'm not sure if it's my skin only, but nothing at all prepared me for just how SWEET this would smell. It must be the lily that just dominates the composition for me, because I guess Lily can be quite sweet but this is like a very hyper sweet lily, almost to the verge of going off, so sweet that I almost thought it was a berry note. Under that is an undercurrent of sand and clean laundry musk, with maybe a rattle and a shake of pink pepper but I find the clean girl facets overtaken. This to me is maybe someone who has worn a strong grandma perfume and is trying in vain to wash it out of their clothes. I know I'm going to get a ton of down votes for this, but I'm just not feeling this one. It's much sweeter than I hoped. In fact. The first time I sprayed it on skin I sprayed twice and it was so strong and so sweet that I found it nauseating and had to scrub it. I want to love it. I love your skin but better. I'll try again but... She might not be for me.
