Voyage d'Hermes Parfum

It feels fresh, spicy and woody, with citrus and cardamom giving it a clean, elegant character. I feel EXTREMELY LUCKY to own a fragrance like this, it truly feels like a little JEWEL and, for me, it is worth every penny. I always wear it when I’m heading to the airport, so I can honestly say it has become my signature scent for airports and travelling.

Straight up gin tonic smell. Reminds me of that day when I ordered pure Gin. like jus gimme Gin, no tonic, no nothing. Bad idea. But good scent.

I tried to find green Fairy Liquid in the reminds me of section but it wasn’t there😳

The top notes are a creamy lemon scent. The base notes are similar to Prada Infusion Di Iris.

This one is interesting, I expected closer to the EdT but the EdP is way way more citrus. And I love that about it. I smell lime in this, and instead of the EdTs strong cardamom opening this one goes straight to lime and freshness. It does not have the same sting as its predecessor but it does have a more feel of first bloom of spring. Much like Valentinos Green Stravaganza which is another of my favorites, this one gives the feel of walking through a spring garden and it is light rain as a pairing. It also smells strangely alike to the drink Caipiroska. (Which is lime, lime and sugar and it’s amazing trust me) I would have loved for it to be a stronger version of the original Voyage but it is still a good scent of its own. But my thing is that this is exactly that, its own. And to be completely fair to all of my three Hermes scents, they are all amazing.

I went ahead and bought a full bottle this, despite the extremely poor performance on me. And this is the worst, least functional bottle design ever. It can't sit upright, so you have to store it upside down. And there's absolutely NO good way to hold it. I had to turn the head 45 degrees so I could awkwardly hold one part of the swivel cover and one part of the bottle. Other than looking cool, I cannot imagine what the designer was thinking here. So frustrating.

This perfume is high class quality. Unisex perfume are always the best because the perfume is flexible. The quality of the notes in this perfume is high. I did not expect else from this house and her star perfumer. The perfume opens with a citric spicy note. It is very nice freshness that opens and then evolves into the aromatic junipress notes. Then is gets green and flowerily. Wow really. This is masculine and feminine in one. The sweetness of flowers and the green notes of tea. At the end it evolves in a woody-amber-sandelwood note almost oriental. This is a symphony of notes. I really love it. The longevity is better then the EDT variant and one can expect that of an EDP. When to wear? In spring, summer and fall but espc with warm weather. It has such a class, so it should fit all occasions. This perfume is a class of it's own.

I pretty like it, it is a perfect male perfume for all age. For young male, it combines vibes of positivity and trustworthiness; for middle-aged adult, it stands for a reliable male. This perfumes begins the fresh and sweet smell of lemon and a little sharpness of ginger. This is also the smell that lingers all the time. Later, floral and woody smell leaks from the aroma of lemon. And it ends with milky smell and sweetness of amber.

smells sweet body cream or lotion (may be a bit too sweet and too powdery), and is leaning a bit feminine imho. but longevity and intensity of this EdP is a lot higher than those of the EdT.

Natural smelling watery lemon + green notes, with a bit of spice from cardamom. If you've ever rubbed a leaf from a lemon tree and smelt it, that's what this smells like. This is my daily. Easy to grab and unexpectedly unique. The performance isn't great, but I just over-spray and its fine

I was very excited to get this one. And while I wasn't exactly disappointed, I think maybe I had built it up too much in my head. It's enjoyable enough, and if the performance was substantially better I would be absolutely pumped. But as it is, at least on me, it's practically gone in 20 minutes. I'll get skin scent for maybe 1-2 hours.

Voyage d’Hermès is one of those slow-burners that surprised me. At first, I wasn’t into it—too woody, too serious—but over time it just clicked. The sandalwood is rich and almost dominant, and I can see how that might be a bit much for some noses. Once it grew on me though, I found myself reaching for it every day—warm, refined, and quietly confident. I’m not sure if it’s discontinued—I can’t find it anywhere. It’s a classy, under-the-radar gem I miss wearing.

If anyone has Maro 17 bergamot body soap, it smells quite similar to that which i love. It projects quite well for me, will get whiffs of it every now and then even after seven hours of applying. Smells clean, classy and gentlemen like. Definitely more masculine leaning. A great masterpiece of a fragrance yet again by Jean-Claude.

Similar to the edt version, non-generic citrus and fresh opening, though it had a vomit-like smell as well. Base notes are more pleasant than the ones in the edt version.

It's heavy on the hedione. There is also a persistent citronella note that I really dislike. Citronella is Temu citrus to me. Autumn and winter.

full disclosure - i bought this because it was my favourite singers signature scent. smells so nice, definitely spicy/woody. a lot of the reviews are saying its more of a daytime scent but honestly i get more of a night vibe from it? my one complaint is i wish it wasnt so expensive for the staying power

I get a citronella smell in the opening which I don’t love, but it is quite lovely after it develops. It’s very light as intended but that’s a bit frustrating to me. I don’t think scents that are intended to be light and fading should be so expensive. It’s a nice balance between the wood, cardamom, and citrus. I would wear this day to day but wouldn’t wear it to something more formal. It’s fun but a fleeting outdoors kind of scent.

It's amazing. Fresh lemon and slight subtle cardamom but there's something else to it too.

This is about 90% identical to Burberry Brit. I've had Burberry Brit in my collection for a while, and these two are REALLY close for the first hour or so. I can barely tell them apart side-by-side on my skin. Now, one would ASSUME that Voyage d'Hermes, being a Parfum, SHOULD have an advantage in power and longevity... and indeed it does deliver a bit more depth, and a different nuance in the drydown... but it's not necessarily better. Consider that Burberry Brit is the OG fragrance of the two (out since 2004), and goes for less than half the price. Voyage d'Hermes Parfum is a very nice scent, I can't argue with that..... but for me, it ends up being a tribute to the goodness of Burberry Brit. Would I buy another bottle of Voyage d'Hermes Parfum? I don't know...... hard to see a pressing reason when Jomashop is selling Burberry Brit for $29.

Amazing scent. Don't get fooled by "warm spicy", this is fresh, floral and CLEAN. Does not project at all so you are wearing this for yourself :-)

IMO, this is one of those rare cases where the new version (apparently reformulated around 2018) turned out even better than the original. Yes, it’s no longer a Parfum or even an Eau de Parfum, but that’s exactly why it became a 24/7 wearable fragrance for me. The composition has always been stunning, but previously, at some point, the rose started to get on my nerves, and I had to take breaks from wearing it. Now, it’s a true EDT with 4-6 hours of longevity—airy, green, and aromatic. Perfect for fall, winter, and spring. And for summer, there’s its fantastic predecessor.

Got married in this; my wife adores the cardamom in the opening. I place great personal emphasis on the way a fragrance makes me feel, and to me this feels like the kinds of qualities I would want to embody: refined, inviting, and warm. It’s clearly versatile by season, AM/PM, and occasion. I would recommend this for anyone who likes the notes and wants a subtle cologne to finish getting ready.

Such a wonderful and long lasting fragrance. It's been 7 hours and I'm still getting heavy wafts of my own sillage! Solid performance and a great all weather scent. It's 40F degrees and rainy but this is still projecting nicely. A steal at $74.

Opening is like a combination of Nio and Lemon line, with a dry down that's similar to dior homme cologne. Smells great especially if you like citrus woody fragrances but sadly performance is lack luster even for this profile for me personally as I get around 1 hour moderate projection with the next 2-3 hours of skin scent for a total of 3-4 hours longevity. Now it's cheap enough to reapply but for me personally a fragrance, fresh or not, should last at least 4-5 hours. Also can we redo how fragrantica rates longevity? It should be very weak 1-3 hours, weak 3-4 hours, moderate/average 4-6 hours, long lasting 6-8 hours and eternal 9+ hours . I rated this as a like strictly on scent profile because I'm a big fan of this style but because of the longevity I came close to rating it "ok". The only thing that saved it is the price point. Also how are people saying this smells like declaration? I have a decant, maybe they sent me the wrong sample? This smells nothing like declaration or NR bleu noir EDP which I own.

A less-in-your-face Dior Homme Cologne. Well blended. Not a bad perfume, but i am a little disappointed since i had high expectations based on the reviews here.

I blind bought a 200ml bottle of this after sampling the edt. At this point I'm very comfortable buying blind what ever JC Ellena has done and I wasn't disappointed. The edt is perfect for occasions where you just want to smell very clean and refined, revealing just enough of edge with clean musky base for someone who's close enough in your personal space to smell it. It's very polite smelling fragrance and perfect for traveling in a plane or train where you want to be respectful for the shared space with other passengers. Now this perfume version is distinctly similar, but much more at destination style of perfume. It's less elusive, more complex and opaque profile but has the similar spacious aura which I have learnt is very typical for Mr Ellenas compositions. The lemon & cardamom in the opening has this home like comfort, and over all it opens than much more inviting than the edt. Following the midtones you get delicate flowery aspects companies with green freshness from the juniper and tea. The top and middle notes stand on top of a clean yet slightly darker musky base than it's brother which is more substantive and almost standoffish in a way but still being very soft. There is something immovable and courageous in it's heart that has cleverly brightened with a touch of amber that has this soft orange glow like a setting sun in the Mediterranean sea. This scent isn't loud, it's more introvert but still inviting. It's not going all over places, but feels more like you could pick it up and hold it in your hands admiring it's beaty feeling no fatigue because it's weightlessness. 10/10

This is not an EDP, it's Parfum. It's more dark and spicy than the EDT (white bottle), great for all year round. Great scent, it's luxurious.

I have both voyage edt and edp.. it’s just that you smell fresh rose note as an addon in edp .. rest all same.. those comparing it with Cartier declaration, should spend some time with this fragrance.. it’s(voyage) far better!! brighter!! Fresher !! Though perfumery is subjective.. still this is a perfect blend for the most .. - - Voyage d’Hermès EDP 🌸

This is such a calm and zen sent. It just relaxes me. I get a harmonious blend of lemon (not sharp), light spices, tea, and florals. It’s so smooth and mature. It’s airy and light. A true gentleman’s scent for the spring and summer. Spray heavy.
