Layer this with dylan blue. Use 10 sprays or more of the Sauvage and 4-5 of dylan blue.

I have both parfum and edt and not sure how this fits. A pleasant cologne. That is all.

Amazing scent with a horrible performance. Lasted me about 1 hour.

Reminds me a LOT of L'eau Dissey Pour Homme. Big fan of these drydowns, but the sharp citrus opening is a little harsh. It is cool how lifelike and 3D the citrus notes are though. This has a pleasant musky drydown that I've been able to smell on my clothes even days later, but this doesnt last super long on skin. great gym, summer, or everyday fragrance, though I personally don't pick it everyday.

Gorgeous scent! Don't let people who say ''outdated'' throw you off. This is peak cleanliness!!

Анонім

I just scored a vintage bottle!

Refreshing, bracing citrus with a petitgrain backbone and subtle vetiver. Beautiful in spring, but in extreme heat it turns overly lemony and loses some of its elegance. Don't get me wrong. This is great for extreme high heat (think 100 F). The 50ml is perfectly sized to throw in your travel kit for a quick refresher when traveling. I swear this line is nearly perfect in every way for a mature individual. Also, to my nose, the previous Dior Homme Cologne definitely had a link to this Cologne for a silk-thread of continuity.

This is amazingggg, only idiots dislike this, or they are gate keeping it...I almost went broke but bought two bottles!

Peak zest. The citrus, the rinds... everything. One of the greats. I’ve tried the entire line and this is my fav. So refreshing! Demachy is the best in the business.

Анонім

First impressions: the opening citrus is really high quality, with juice, rind and leaves in detail, although I'm struggling to get *anything* in the dry down, beyond a faint petitgrain and the slightest echo of galbanum. It smells lovely so I'm going to have to save it for summer to see if it "works" better (it's grey and 1°C today).

@heysmell i have the new batch version and honestly for a n EDC its pretty long lasting in the drydown

Still some remaining embers from the original Eau Sauvage, albeit cleaner, out the shower, perked up citrus aromatics and white florals and, frankly, less geriatric trying to relive it's 70s and 80s glory days. A respectable release, a more modern take on the original and a similar relationship to something like Givenchy Gentleman Cologne has with its original; this would be its older brother.

Анонім

Bitter, herbal, almost medicinical smell. Quite dry, zero sweetness. No resemplance to original Eau Sauvage. I had to use entire sample decant i had as a toilet refreshener, because i couldn't think of any occassion to wear this.

Best citrus - aromatic - fresh fragrance I have old batch backup bottles, so I'm curious if the new batches are as good as well?

I now own most of the various fragrances within the Eau Sauvage line having just now finally picked up a 50ml of the Cologne....and I have to say that the Cologne is a very nice addition to the line. It is not earth-shattering like the Parfum was/is (both the 2012 and 2017 versions) nor as polarizing as the Extreme, nor is it as timeless and classic as the OG EDT....but it is clean, fresh, and very pleasant...in my opinion a true dumb-reach fragrance that is versatile. As many have said, it is incredibly similar to Chanel Allure Homme Blanche in the opening but clearly diverges at mid and especially at dry-down as it shifts slightly with the Vetiver influence (while Blanche becomes more creamy vanilla-like). So, if you like the Eau Sauvage line and are looking for a less tart and a little creamier version of the EDT, the Cologne will fit the bill for sure. Glad to have it in my collection.

If you can find this and you're looking for a well blended and beautiful fragrance I'd highly recommend this. Smells nothing like DHC. Performs well throughout the day. There's even a delicious factor to this. Not too mature as a younger guy can pull this off too. No veviter either which is a plus. It's a citrus lemony type of fragrance that speaks class

Анонім

Just basic citrus zest and herbs. Nothing special. Doesn't last very long too.

I had it and I gave it (to a taxi driver in Athens), because there was something sharp in its composition I couldn't cope with. I would have preferred the original if it performed decently, but it never truly did. The bottle and packaging are great and the formula is typical Dior - very well blended. Today, I tested it again and I really like it. Not sure if the formula has been tweaked , but I seriously consider getting it again. This is not a summer cologne but a modern perfume for all seasons with a focus on citrus. The articulation of the composition is very French. The base has some elegant sweetness and there is also some complexity here. This is a sexy perfume. -ΙΩΝ

Still one of my top 3 summer perfumes. Please FK do not reformulate this, make a flanker If you need but leave this & Parfum alone. They're two of my 10/10 favorites. This is the quintessential summer perfume, performs great for a citrus perfume. I'm going to buy 3-4 back up.bottles incase this is reformulated. Worth a sniff!!

I couldn’t remember what I smelled in a department store years ago and thought this was the Christian Dior bottle I tried. After smelling this I believe it was probably the EDP variation. Either 2012 or 2017. I found the original Eau Sauvage to be a bit dated and not really a summer scent like people say. To me summers should be along the lines of CK All, CK Everyone, etc. More light citrusy, aquatic and aromatic scents. You want something light that you would smell in a breeze and disappear and want you longing for more. I think a lot of what people consider summer fragrances contain too many masculine notes. They tend to hang around too much on the body and project a warm scent. For the price point I was disappointed in the original, but it’s still pleasant enough. I blind bought this after seeing some reviews and it sounded like a better version of the EDT and possibly what I smelled years ago. Lighter, more modern. Although this is a very pleasant cologne and leans more towards summer than the OG EDT this is kind of a niche smell. I can see why people call this citrus to be bitter and resemble an air freshener or cleaner. It is very bitter and slightly stinging to the nostrils at first. I have Bois De Yuzu and people say that opening is bitter, but compared to this it’s nothing. Compared to Dior Homme it has somewhat of the same opening, but I would consider the DH to be lighter and more pleasant. This does have a beautiful dry down though. Once it settles down it really starts to shine. I’d go daytime/nighttime for this if it was hot and humid out. Would not use it in the office or a professional setting. I’d take this out if I was primarily gonna be by myself and wanted to wear something different and uplifting that nobody is really gonna be wearing. I would say it’s slightly overpriced, but because of its scarcity I can understand. Wasn’t expecting sillage and longevity to be much as this is an EDC. Not good for teens or 20s. More modern than the EDT, but still projects a mature niche scent. EDT seems better suited for older guys and this is more 30s to mid 40s. Compared to a lot of what I like to wear in the summer I’d put this in the middle of the pack. Not something for everyday, but certainly something that I want in my rotation. To make a lazy comparison it smells like Grey Flannel if it got a modern reformulation that was much lighter and more suitable for warm weather. Both share Pettigrain, Galbanum, Bergamont, Vetiver and some citrus. Keeping all the other notes in here, if you remove all the middle and base notes of Grey Flannel you get this. The powdery, violet and earthy stuff is all gone. As beautiful and unique as Grey Flannel is for the fall and winter so is this for the warm weather. If only it was as cheap.

this is the signature classic manly scent i was looking for, while tf beau de jour is an awesome classic fragance, this one is more citrusy, woody without the heavy pungent medicine herbal notes. you need this classic in your collection

10/10 Summer fragrance. You cannot ask for much of anything else from this... The citrus is vibrant, the midst are modest and drydown is delicious. To top itself off, it performs great for a citrus frag. When I spray this i bloody love it. For me this gives me great spring summer vibes like GIT, Dior Homme Sport 2021 and ADP Essenza. I'm not saying they smell the same just they give me the 'Hell yeah this is the ducks nuts' vibe, when I apply it. 10/10 for Summer 9/10 for general all round use only losing a point as winter while this still smells great it isn't a 'winter' perfume. However, there are some frags that aren't 'winter' frags that I use in winter. This, Himalaya, ADP Intensa to name a couple. Though on winter evenings I wouldn't reach for these unless staying in and just want a Citrus blast. Bravo!!

I used this perfume. I have always liked it for its citrus scent. It won't stay much on me, in my case, two hours at most. The funny thing about this perfume is that my mom likes it. But when she uses it, it smells like roses. It's amazing. How smells changes depending on the pH of the skin.

I could never really get into the original Eau Sauvage. It had a musty and dated feel to me. Eau Sauvage Cologne is like an unplugged version of the original Eau Sauvage: it still feels old-fashioned, but no longer dated (and the mustiness has disappeared) Eau Sauvage Cologne is a simple, minimalist fragrance. I can certainly see where the associations with cleaning products and air fresheners come in for some, but for me it’s only fleeting. Bergamot is listed as one of the main top notes but before reviewing the notes I very clearly thought “lemon”. “Fresh” and “bracing" are accurate descriptions, along with "acidic". The most noticeable note in Eau Sauvage Cologne - by some distance - is hedione. For those who don’t know, a brief description of hedione: “An elegant, transparent floral, jasmine note with a citrus freshness.” Hedione is also reputed to have a pheromone response due to some studies. Pink pepper gives the fragrance depth. Galbanum is listed as a note, but I don't get much greenery. Eau Sauvage Cologne loses some of the acidity of the top notes and veers towards creaminess, but always remains citric. The base is allegedly vetiver, but I would argue that a non-animalic white (synthetic) musk plays a much more important role. Longevity and projection are poor, and I need to spray with abandon to enjoy it. Hot weather only. My review sounds like a neutral, but I actually really enjoy Eau Sauvage Cologne. Now that we are coming into summer in the Southern Hemisphere, it is replacing my almost-empty bottles of L’Homme Ideal Cool and Vetiver Hombre as my hot weather daily fragrance of choice. A note on the bottle: this is a perfume bottle done right. Solid, heavy, and the cap is magnetic. It actually feels like quality. Kudos to Dior on the bottle (Eau Sauvage Cologne vs Dior Homme Cologne: Dior Homme Cologne focuses more on the grapefruit blossom and musk, Eau Sauvage Cologne is more about the citrus and hedione)

Really nice scent! The only downside is that it's smells a bit too much like an air freshner. Other than that it's quite nice.

Imagine you're sitting on the porch of a house in a Mediterranean coastal town, surrounded by a garden filled with rosemary and lemon trees. A light breeze carries the scent of the sea, mixed with the aromas of lemon and rosemary (even though rosemary isn't an official note, something in this perfume gives off that vibe). Absolutely amazing!

Boy oh boy. The only cologne that can exude pure Class under a 40°C sun. Top pick for summer formal occasions. Maravilloso

Анонім

This is so much better than DHC. DHC is too sweet for my liking. Whilst this does have that sharp lemon opening, it has a more woody/masculine backbone to it. I'm now set with my lemony summer scents with this and my 150 ML bottle of Edition Blanche :)

Smells like a weak version of Dior Fahrenheit Cologne. VERY disappointing.
