L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge

This is my favourite perfume of all time. Everything about this is stunning, the bottle, the spice, uniqueness, most of all the dry down. Perfection ❤️

Upon application, notes of blood orange and cinnamon, along with jasmine and tuberose, immediately stand out. It has an appetizing aroma also; although I cannot pinpoint exactly what it is, the initial scent evokes the sensation of a fruity cake, a fruity tart, or maybe a fruity chocolate brownie. After about three hours, the fragrance shifts to dominant floral notes and with a nice projection. When I had a few people smell it on my clothes and skin, they described it as bold and attractive. It lasts about 6–7 hours on the skin, eventually settling into a blend of jasmine and a hint of vanilla, mingled with sandalwood and patchouli. On clothing, it lasts around 8 hours. While it is a cool-weather scent better suited for night, applying a very small amount makes it wearable during the day in spring and summer. It is a fragrance that makes a statement by itself as "This is me, here I am!", I mean it already stands out. So over-applying it can be absolutely overwhelming and might be even suffocating for both the wearer and those around them. It settles onto the skin about 20 minutes after application and skin chemistry is highly important for this scent in my opinion. It is definitely a scent that seeks and commands attention. It is alluring and won me over; I am pleased with it.

I need to come to terms with the fact that I just dont like ginger. It makes everything smell like medicine on me, which is a shame because I really love this otherwise. Definitely a strong, seductive, femme fatale type fragrance for colder weather. The dry down is especially beautiful, but it still has that hint of medicine that I just can't get past. It's a perfect, sophisticated date night fragrance.

Sexy and luxurious. I think that all of Givenchy Linterdt fragrances have such a distinctive smell, that you could never mix it up with other fragrances. Very well done.

My absolute FAVOURITE perfume! Strong longevity (7-12 hours), lingers on the skin and the sillage is PERFECT, it can be subtly noticed whilst not overpowering to those in close proximity. It's very versatile, however I do prefer it as a nighttime/'going out' scent, and it never fails to receive compliments. Perfect blend of femininity without being overpoweringly floral, and I'd debate the notes of patchouli and blood orange are definitely more notable than the white floral notes. Minimal sprays required for the scent to last, has a great sprayer as well that both dispenses enough product but doesn't shower you in perfume. The scent is sexy and luxurious without being overpowering or sickly sweet, a fantastic first investment scent that can be layered or left to shine on it's own!

BAM! TUBEROSE! ❤️ I like it, but oddly not as much as OG L'Interdit EDT, though they are extremely similar. This isn't a flanker series with a ton of variation. If you own one, that's probably all you need to own, and you could just layer it to get variation. They're all slightly sweet tuberose fragrances with variations in the milder notes. I'm very surprised there isn't a vanilla note. A fantastic fragrance to be sure, but a bit of a let down with so much hype around it.

Such a sexy scent in a luxurious way sweet and spicy ginger with a an expensive woody notes that make this masterpiece very heightened I was lucky to have the old formula which is mor concentrated comparing to the new one I wear it in the night winter dates and in summer outside walk it project in fantastic way this is a good smell that you can’t go wrong with it

Bu parfüm kesinlikle daha olgun yaşlara hitap ediyor. Mini boyunu anneme aldım o çok beğendi ama hiç benim beklediğim gibi çıkmadı. Kan portakalının gizemli açılışından sonra nasıl bir kokuya evrilecek diye beklerken bir anda 2000'li yıllarda annelerimizin kullandığı parfümlere dönüştü. Kokuyu tam tarif edemiyorum, oturdukça tatlılaşıyor ama şekerli bir tatlılık değil. Hypnotic Poison'a benzetenlerin haklılık payı var. Beni çok boğuyor. Kör alışa uygun değil. Yayılımı ise çok güçlü koridor parfümü olmaya müsait.

Musty left over flowers with fern. Muddled water doesn't provide depth.

Okay so I’ve just found my new autumn winter date night perfume 😍 on first spray, it feels very bright and fresh with the blood orange. I was very surprised! But then it quickly dries down to a woody, sexy floral. It’s so deep and intense and very long lasting - I tested in summer and it’s definitely too much in warm weather - but I can’t wait to buy a full bottle in the cooler months!

To my nose this is tiger balm. Not bad not good but I could buy tiger balm for $6 to smell like this.

I’ve been dragging my heels about buying this perfume for like a year now. I love it, but also find it mature (not grandma). Other times I find it’s so sexy. I’ve tested it in store at least 30 times and finally am going to buy it!

If you loved the powerful fruity florientals of the 90s, you'll love this too. Sadly, I loathed those perfumes and the ozonic notes in this one just add further insult. This is a big loud, blowzy, chemical bucket (pronounced "bouquet") LOL!

Eu perco toda minha humildade quando uso esse perfume. Viro uma pessoa péssima! Ele te dá uma sensação de poder absurda e deixa sua autoestima igual de um homem hétero mediano que trabalha em escritório de advocacia ou como engenheiro civil. Ele é marcante, equilibrado e envolvente, perfeito para rolês noturnos. Se você mora em São Paulo e passa ele, automaticamente começa a tocar The Last Day do Moby.

Heads up that this is half price at Boots UK right now for the 80ml (with free next day delivery)! ♥️♥️♥️ I love both this and the Ultime. This is a bit stronger on the blood orange, the orange is richer, the scent is a touch more potent though to me they're pretty similar. I'm not keen on the regular l'interdit but am keen on all of the dark bottle variants. Especially this and the Ultime. They're what is keeping the Givenchy name alive for me personally. Dahlia Noir was the last great scent, I felt, from Givenchy, prior to these l'interdit fragrances.

For me it smells like Orbit for kids bubblegum but as a feminine sexy perfume. Sweet, but not too generic in my opinion. Worth a try.

This is such an intriguing perfume. You'll either love it or find it meh but I ADORE IT. It's just so addicting and sexy! More suitable for nights out with great lasting power 10/10.

One of the best fragrances I have and superior to rouge ultime, way more dark and mysterious, lasts forever, moderate to high sillage. Great for sexy nights out.

L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge, packaged in its luxe dark red bottle, was difficult to resist or ignore when browsing the department store. This fragrance reminds me of Hugo Boss Deep Red, however, L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge is far more refined and has a heavier white floral nuance. This flanker is certainly my favourite from the L'Interdit line, and I particularly love how the tuberose and jasmine blend has been brightened with blood orange and ginger. It strikes me as more provocative and nocturnal than its predecessors, with a woody-spicy character in the heart and drydown. I find it quite delectable, bordering on a spicy, warm gourmand with a zesty twist. I can certainly see why this fragrance has been quite popular since its release, and has in turn brought some interest back into exploring the Givenchy fragrance line. L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge has excellent longevity and projection, and is best suited to wear during the cooler seasons. I would most likely wear this sultry fragrance for a date night, or for a formal evening out to the theatre or a special event. L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge is the type of fragrance you would wear when seeking to be the centre of attention, channeling "femme fatale" vibes.

Wow.. the best out of the L'Interdit range. I am not a fan of tuberose and yet Givenchy or rather Dominique Ropion has made it enjoyable for me. The spiciness from the ginger here is unlike anything else I smelled. I need to get a bottle of this!

The dry down is bearable ... I am not a big fun of this DNA It's giving old brothelmama vibe but not in a good way

Smells like root beer for me. I love the smell so much I gave it to my girl so I could fall in love with her even more every time she wore it.
