This perfume is very osmanthus-dominant, which masks most of the other notes. I can detect some mango, but on my skin it comes across as slightly rotten mango, and the overall sweetness is quite nauseatingly strong. It also has poor longevity on my skin, so overall it is a 1/10 for me. Would not recommend blind buying it.

I have it for over 2 years now, and this perfume just gets better and better! Mango is juicy but not overwhelming or too tropical and cloying. Just the right amount of sweetnes, juicyiness and freshness in a perfect balance! And its great that it's not cloning any other perfume, its a masterpiece on its own! One of my top 5 summer fragrances ❤️. The truth is that it needs to macerate for months or even longer to reach its full potential, but its worth it! And its sooo cheap!

This is one of my all-time favourite perfumes. Every time I wear it, someone asks what I'm wearing because they love the scent. I refuse to gatekeep this one—everyone should own a bottle, especially while it's still so affordable. It smells like summer in a bottle. The opening is a vibrant burst of juicy mango and bright citrus, while the sandalwood and oud in the base add a smooth, creamy warmth that keeps it feeling sophisticated rather than overly fruity. It reminds me of lounging on a sun-warmed wooden deck, sunscreen on my skin, sipping a fresh mango-orange smoothie. It's tropical, creamy, sunny, and effortlessly elevated. I reach for it constantly in the warmer months, and it never disappoints.

I like it its ok but not wow. I mainly smell the oud, sandal wood, musk and a bit of fruit the mango i assume. And i smell coconut but thats not in the ingredients but no Jasmine at all. On my skin its more masculin than feminin. So not crazy and will not purchase again. The projection and longtivity is moderate if i spray very generous because of my perfume eating skin.

This is more osmanthus forward than mango.

The yummiest mango lassi in perfume form, very richly sweet with mango and peach, very well balanced with earthy woods as it dries down. Perfect for the spring and summer months. Lasts all day, leaves a noticeable trail. Have gotten plenty of compliments.

When I first got this, I couldn't get past the harsh woodiness and the screechy opening. I sprayed it and cleared out the straw, put it on a shelf, and I let it set for six months. I got it back out for Spring and I love it. I am wearing it today and it is wonderful on the skin. It is smooth and well blended. It is perfect for Summer. The screechiness is gone, and the oud is soft and smooth. It no longer is harsh, but instead it adds a nice, warm, resonant base. I love this fragrance. It's a beautiful, posh-smelling fragrance with great performance.

Looking to sell my bottle. Few sprays missing. UK shipping only

Love it but a tiny bit too masculine for me. Anyone looking for the same vibe but without the oud I recommend Alhambra Victoria Flower Rosa Lilium

Анонім★★★★★

Gave it months of rest, gave it away. Dry down was ok but, I couldn't get past the harsh opening.

Анонім★★★★★

This is beautiful but it took me a year! to come to that. My bottle needed to sit to get rid of the oudy woody sharpness that lingered all the way to the drydown. To me this is the best calming spa feeling in a fragrance. Tiny bit of harshness is still there but gone within the first minute. I don’t really get anything juicy. It’s like sniffing an unripe mango still hanging from the tree with something almost incensy about it. You get the bark and leaves but also a hint of not-there-yet sweetness and a touch of clean freshness. The blend is amazing now, no separate distinct notes sticking out. Almost a healing effect. It’s not a green fragrance, also not a fruity floral, nothing playful or gourmand about it. Love how it makes me feel.

Анонім★★★★★

Now, this takes a while to transform from a screechy oud to a well blended and refined tart mango. Took mine 4 months to get a point where the oud is less noticeable, but great longevity has not set in yet. The Indian noses will get this — this is a slightly sweeter and more elevated version of Parle Mango Bite. It’s not a pulpy, ripe Alphonso. But a mango with some refreshing greenness and slight tang. It’s actually quite delicious for high heat summers — without being cloying. I love it! It’s not like the God of Fire DNA, which is slightly sweeter due to the melange of other fruity notes. This is different, less sweet, with a noticeable oud. As it sits, it does become sweeter though in a riper mango sense, and there may be a point when men would have to pair this with something woodier or spicier to get it to lean more masculine.

This is what I imagine a luxury store in Dubai smells like — like I’m wearing Dubai Mall on my skin.

Straight from the box, my eyes widened in pleasant surprise. This is excellent juice! To be clear, I am not into most gourmands. This is nonetheless a ripe mango mellowed by sandalwood and amber. It has a complexity that I'm loving. It is a definite happy blind buy!

Анонім★★★★★

Interesting fragrance, leaning masculine, nothing tropical about it which is good for me. Oud is discreet, amber is present in the drydown, I can detect a fine scent of pine tree needles too. It smells niche, for the price is a total steal. Is it a safe blind buy?! I'd say "no", but only if you judge it by the notes.

Анонім★★★★★

If mango would have grown on Christmas tree, it would smell like Ajayeb Dubai Portrait! It is a mixture of totally realistic evergreen needles with ripe mango flesh. This combo never turns syrupy, or artificial, but keeps this warm, woody, uplifting mango-mood for good 6 hours. Really pleasant heavy glass bottle, stylish, unlike majority of Lattafa tacky bottles with mind boggling design. This unexpensive juice is not a dupe of anything, but very original, very unique, present worthy fragrance. It gives you holiday vibe, suitable to all genders and ages, very pleasant surprise from Lattafa.

When I smell this I envision walking through a sunny, wood paneled lobby of a classy tropical resort surrounded by lush mango groves. It's a balance of light fruity sweetness and woody boldness without being overpowering in either direction. It leans a little sweet while still being a unisex fragrance. I live in a very humid sub-tropical climate, and so far this has performed nicely in the springtime. I wore it after going to the beach recently and was pleasantly surprised that it smelled even better on top of my sunscreen. I can see this becoming a year round staple if it remains balanced as it matures. I'm looking forward to testing its performance in the summer heat.

This is a slightly sour, woody mango scent and its absolutely not blind buy safe. It very much has its own character and has a dominant profile. I really like it but it's not an every occasion scent and for me it works best as either an evening scent or a daytime scent in in autumn combined with a leather jacket or a blazer.

Анонім★★★★★

reviewer before me nailed it; tropical shisha is a great description. I happen to love it, but can understand why that might be a turnoff.

Анонім★★★★★

Starts off equal parts mango and rich tobacco. As it dries, the mango remains present, but the tobacco becomes the dominant note. To me, it smells exactly like a tropical fruity option at a hookah bar. I know that tobacco isn't a note here, so I guess I'm smelling the oud and "oriental notes." I find this a really confusing fragrance because I like all the notes- I love rich tobacco and it makes the mango more sophisticated. But I associate mangoes so strongly with hot, tropical weather, and the tobacco/oud is really prominent here, which makes it cloying in warm weather. So though I really do enjoy the fragrance for what it is, I rated it as okay because I find it to be unwearable- too tropical for cold weather, while also being too warm and rich for warm weather.

I've had this for a year now, it is way better now than it was at first. There is something I don't like... it's like a pepper note... HOWEVER there is so much I love! it smells very niche and high quality In my opinion. I'm glad I have this in my collection!

Анонім★★★★★

I would not consider it a gourmand if your idea of gourmand is sweet and dessert-like. This is a very bold woodsy musk/oud with fruity accents. The fruit notes are definitely playing second string here. I personally love this, it’s strong and long lasting and exotic/mysterious. Very much an Eastern scent. Highly recommended.

I got a sample of SHL Mango Kiss and was hesitant whether I want a full bottle since it is so pricey. To add to my experience with Stephane Humbert Lucas, I have a bottle of God of Fire, and I cannot justify the price since the paint has started peeling around the nozzle. Happy to report that Ajayeb Dubai Portrait has scratched that itch and I no longer want the original. Although they are not 100% the same, especially in the opening - Mango Kiss does have a more sophisticated and intricate scent, on the dry-down they do feel quite similar. My ADP is also leaking around the nozzle, but I don't care as much since this one is so cheap, I just wipe it with a tissue after each use.

Very interesting fragrance not everyone will like. Fruity floral fragrance with a strong oud base that makes it far more unisex.

Анонім★★★★★

This was a scrubber upon first impression. All I could smell was screechy oud with a drop of tropical fruit. Blergh. It was going to be dumped if nobody would take it. One week later, I decided to revisit and I was blown away why some mouthwatering pineapple with creaminess was singing instead. The woody smell is toned down but still blended in quite beautifully with the fruity accords. Hallelujah! Tbh, I associate this fragrance to pineapple rather than mango and I know mango well. Must be the combination of 'mango' and citruses. No matter. This is a win.

This had the potential to be something good if not that petroleum note that it is very disappointing in a lot of Lattafa perfumes. That petroleum note is a turn off for me for a lot of perfumes from this brand. Lattafa if you know what that note is just remove it and your perfumes will feel less like toxic.

I bought this May 2024, initially I was kinda disappointed and it reminded me of Johnson and Johnson baby cologne, particularly the yellow one but with a lot of mango candy and a cheap oud that I wasn't a big fan of. Since then, it has bloomed into a citrusy, clean, creamy, sweet (without being cloying), mango with fruity kinda peachy-apricoty osthmanthus flowers in the background. This is great for warmer weather and honestly a bit underrated imo, especially for its price. I do have to disagree with people who call this a green mango scent, which was the main reason why I was drawn to purchase this. Green to me means, an underripe sappy mango, this lacks that green sap however the oud in here does kinda seem to mimick that sticky green quality I get from green mangos but it falls kinda short. Green mangos are known for being tart and sour, this isn't sour at all BUT I'm not upset. The citrus give just enough tartness to help balance the mango and I love this, I could see how people could regard this as being on the feminine side but it's fairly unisex by my standards.

Анонім★★★★★

I bought it when it first came out and didn’t like it, musk and oud fighting against sweet fruits and ….winning. I tried it again yesterday and it has change so much, it turned into a very sophisticated contemporary fragrance.

Ayayeb Dubai by Lattafa is a wonderful fruity bomb with an unexpected edge. It’s exotic, tropical and summer evoking. It opens with herbal and green notes that initially dominate the mango, creating the impression of an unripe, green mango. This is also accompanied by a citrus note, more like citrus skin or peel, due to its tangy and slightly bitter character. As Ayayeb develops, the mango becomes more prominent, turning mouthwatering, tastefully sweet, and juicy, while the subtle bitterness remains, keeping it unique. All of this sits on a woody base that has this intriguing twist. Soft, subtle, almost undetectable incensey, smoky, oudy nuance. It’s something distinctive on the very bottom that gently adds depth and darkness. As the fragrance continues to dry down, it becomes creamier and more coconuty, while that bitter spark still lingers. Eventually, it turns softer, musky, woody and fluffy, with a faint touch of still sweet, yet slightly bitter mango. Overall, it’s a pleasantly refreshing fragrance with something to it. For the price, it’s exceptionally good.
